Still dont see the hype, strike that i cant see the hype, im trying.

Theres so many counter-arguments to why Vettel is an above average/average/mediocre/not as good as HAM,ALO arguments that i dont see how anyone else could come to any other conclusion.

My mind is more then open to seeing it, i just dont.

Hes only ever won one race not starting from pole, that race saw him in first place by the first corner.............

Hes also got a much higher pole/win ratio

His car is also untouchable for two years.

He was regularly outbeaten by a general consensus regarded mediocre driver in Webber.

People seem to forget who hes driving for, and who his teammate is, far too easily.

Theres no such thing as a unworthy wdc btw, i just dont think this guy should be equalling Alonsos titles and for gods sake doubling Hamiltons and Mansells!

B..b...but he IS the best thing since sliced Wonderbread!!! Or is he not?

They only sell that in Germany.

I don't know about that. There is something about him that in the past I have found very irritating (the finger?). This year it is less so, but I'm not ready to put an Official Red Bull Team Member pic across my signature or start slobbering over him being a god of anything.

I wouldn't expect that from you :hehe:

Stick around. I may surprise you.

Dont be a b*tch dude what i said was a fair point,

Strugglin' like crazy to see how " theres no such thing as an unworthy wdc" is losing without dignity? Please share with me your knowledge.

ok... fair point. But many disagree.

He's winning... let him win.
He MAY not be as good as X or Y... but he's winning. No shame in that. Doesn't matter who's his teammate, who designs his cars... He's doing well, the rest must do better. Its very simple.

Yeah Vettel is essentially racing by himself nowadays, racking up those stats. I think his stats are almost the same as Hamilton's now. That's what 40 odd races in a top car will do. At this rate he'll win the WDC by race 10.

Drivers have had commanding leads with a lot fewer races left than we have now....and still managed to lose the title. It's too early to call a winner as yet. Plenty of bonehead mistakes are still possible.

I am letting him win, i dont have a say in it anyway.

And it does matter, nobody is going to forget what car he drove his championships in, what desinger made them, and what competition he had from his teammate.

Someone said to me the other day that stats only mean so much, theyre right. Until Vettel proves himself in a top car with a top teammate, against another equally paced car with two extra top drivers, i dont and wont believe the hype.

Its not that Webber is bad. Its just that Vettel is so good he makes Webber look bad.

i think we also have to keep in mind that this was the first race where the two were on equal-footing, as far as car reliability is concerned.
