You might want to read F1er's first line again (if you read it already) and tell me if its the same as what Ferrari did last year.

My stand is, since mclaren considers jenson and lewis as equals, then Jenson doesn't need to give way for lewis...
Jenson is there to race against everyone(including his teammate)
Now if mclaren wants to swallow their pride and follow Ferrari's treatment of their drivers(w/c would piss me off because I prefer equality), then that's a totally different story...

This is stupid, one post by F1er , who can and does speak only for himself, has turned the entire forums loyalties onto each other.

Not every Mclaren fan disagreed with Germany 2010,

Not every Mclaren fan thinks Jenson should/ve just moved out the way

Not every Lewis/Jenson fan is a Mclaren fan.....

Can you please stop being d*cks and actually look at who is posting what, f1ea, spanky and bill thats you guys in particular.

That stand is totally milking the 'equality' argument to the point of destroying the teams chances of any trophies. If drivers are on different strategies, or 1 has almost no hope of a WDC, there is no reason for them to race as it destroys both drivers' chances of success which includes the team's chances as well.

For example, what happened in Turkey last year between Jenson and Lewis was justified. This year, it was also justified. However, you can't keep practicing this sort of equality status if one of the drivers do not have hope in attaining the WDC anymore, while the other does.

Let me revise my statement then, as long as both drivers still has a mathematical chance of winning the championship, the team should treat them equally...

I can't help feel that this would all matter a lot more if McLaren or Ferrari were actually able to compete with Red Bull for a championship this year. It's a long season, but a continuation of the performances we've been getting and both championships will be relatively secured by the time we're racing in Germany. It will be a long season if everyone else is just racing for second place.

I'm not sure why you are being so emotional about this discussion. Nobody else is calling anyone names or getting all upset. I haven't had a go at you, nor do I believe has anyone else. So how about you calm down and stop calling people d*cks eh? Take a few deep breaths and relax a bit.

Why be patronising, if you want to come on here to treat others like kids go and work in a nursery school.

And you did, the fact you dont realise is exactly my dig. You dont have to be calling names to be in the wrong, name calling isnt the only way of being an idiot on here, not saying your an idiot.

You lumped Mclaren fans all in one group. Despite the fact only ONE, yes thats ONE person has come out saying Jenson should just move out the way for Lewis, you spanky and f1ea have sinceforth labelled all Mclaren fans with this one persons views, dubbing them hypocrites for their vocal concerns over Germany 2010, would you like the majority Lewis/Mclaren forum to take AKR (bless her fangirlism :hehe: ) as the public voice of all Ferrari fans, im sure you dont. So stop acting like F1er's opinion is that of about 2/3 of a forum.

Ive only seen one person on here you can directly call a hypocrite. One Mclaren fan that is.

Kamui Kobayashi had an eventful race fighting through the midfield

Kobayashi started the race in 24th place having lost drive in his Sauber on his first timed lap of qualifying, but still managed to climb up to 10th to take the final points-scoring position. He said that he had promised his team principal that he would get in to the top ten, and would have finished seventh had he not suffered a puncture at the end of his second stint.

"Before the race I had promised Peter (Sauber) to score points today," Kobayashi said. "It is just one point now because we lost so much time due to a puncture, which was the result of touching Sébastien Buemi when I overtook him. Otherwise I think I could have finished seventh and score more points. The car was great and also the team had a very good strategy for me, so I want to thank them for this. In the end I had to be a bit careful and save the tyres, because the last stint was quite long with 20 laps, but it worked out well."

Peter Sauber praised the performances of both his drivers, describing Kobayashi's progress through the field on a three-stop strategy as "amazing".

"The strategy could not have been any better," Sauber said. "Kamui overtook countless drivers, and Sergio [Perez] also passed many competitors. Unfortunately neither driver was able to get the full reward they deserved today. However, Kamui scored one point despite starting from the back of the grid, which was amazing."
ESPN

So not only did he make three stops in the end, he suffered a puncture from Buemi overtake that cost him 7th place,

If schumacher leaves, you know who to get,
If webber leaves, you know who to get,
If massa leaves you know who to get.

Let's keep this thread on track please, no need to call anyone a d*ck, everyone is being civil in this discussion, let's keep it that way!!!

Right, the Ferrari team orders situation was different; primarily because team orders were prohibited at the time; now they are not; Ferrari can implement team orders all they want now and I won't bat an eyelid. I said it before and I'll say it again; if Formula 1 is a team sport then abolish the drivers championship; then it's truly a team sport! Until that happens, don't expect F1 drivers to be courteous and move aside for their team mates; if they are not allowed to race for superiority in the team, then the drivers championship is null and void IMO!

I'm not so sure Jenson really held Lewis up, overtaking is doable this year, if Lewis was clearly faster he could've got past.

There's no point in blaming Jenson anyway, if McLaren don't tell him to move, he's not going to move out of the way. You might as well blame Petrov for holding Alonso up last year.

Yeah, its harder having your team mate race you.

Are you suggesting Jenson is told not to race Lewis on a regular basis?
