Heh, I guess it would be cynical to say that the FIA changed thier minds on customer cars because Prodrive were going to buy McLarens.

You are right. The FIA knew the score regarding how Prodrive planned to enter the sport. Once again we have seen how biased, inconsistent, feckless, clueless and useless the people are who are charged with running the sport we love.

Like I've said before, I'm sure someone like Lola or Dallara would be more than happy to build an F1 car for Pro-Drive, sure it might not be competitive right out and it's a long time since Lola and Dallara built F1 cars.
