There is already a 2.0 L4 Turbo that delivers 400hp; it's called the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ400... and no doubt in the very near future, 500hp will be a reality!

No shat Sherlock I'm not ignorant, I'm talking about an engine that puts down 400-500+ RWHP (rear wheel horsepower) not HP measured at the crankshaft.

The the crankshaft is where nearly all manufacturers measure their horsepower rating as it produces a higher figure, until manufacturers start measuring HP where the rubber meets the road; that's the only comparison we can make. And I never intimated that you were ignorant; I don't know the horsepower rating of every car; that doesn't make me ignorant!

Apology accepted :) horse power like sound system amplifier power is measured at a point that flatters the statistics; my home surround system is rated at 120 watts per channel but it reality output from the speakers, where it counts is more like 60w per channel (an annoyance that I have had with amplifier manufacturers for a long time). OK, back on topic... sidetracked!
