Possible wet race, but, we'll see... Vettel says his KERS is operational now. Great news!

Tell Vettel that it needs to be operational during the race, not now. :hehe:

Horner said it was mended the day after Oz but we know that was stuff and nonsense. Don't know it's been discussed elsewhere but the problem apparently stems from the fact that the components (and hence weight) of RBR's CURSE are distributed across the chassis, whereas other teams have built theirs into a single tidy unit. This led to complexities in packaging which weren't managed up to scratch, resulting in compromised cooling.

Was three weeks enough to put it right? We shall see. Helmut Marko, FWIW, now also says RBR's CURSE is mended.

Cold weather would benefit Redbull more than anyone else...they are the fastest and hardest on their tyres. These tyres might last that little bit longer. Hope it rains...then we separate the men from the boys! 1 driver each of Redbull, McLaren, Ferrari and Merc.

I read it as wet weather but see now its cold weather, pointless reply now....

If its wet red bull wont be able to take turn 8 flat! Might have a race on our hands then...

Ferrari are hardest on tyres, and have the most difficulty keeping heat in them. Or at least they did before they fetched Rory Byrne from his almshouse.

You misunderestimate the fiendish cleverness of an Adrian Newey at your own peril! I have it on good authority that when the water gets too deep, the RB7's skid block automatically converts to a hydrofoil keel and its tyres to water skis.
