Literally my whole life...

BTCC, Snetterton, 1994. I think i might have gone to the rallying before that, not sure though.

Can't remember, too young to remember properly. The earliest i can vaguely remember watching on tv was Donington 1993.

Playing guitar and drums. Playing football and snooker. Been going bowling a lot recently too! We might start a league team.

Tough question. I love chinese and indian... but i'd probably have to say shepherd's pie with loads of gravy is my favourite single meal.

I'm addicted to Lucozade at the moment! As for alcohol, i like Heineken.

No one really, known a few people who have been professional footballers, my mate's dad owns a tremendously big company and is fairly well known but that's not really 'famous' as such.

Fittipaldi, Lauda, Prost/Senna, Hamilton. I think my favorite would be Lauda, but it's not so much the driver as the time period the memories around how you first saw them driving and the way you felt at a specific moment watching the racing, so the driver's role then is more of a vessel or a means to personify that content.
Forgive me for getting so philosophical, I've had some wine.

yes, yes, yes. oh wait, you may mean more specific. I'm married to a woman, I have teens, one of each, and two dogs a cat and a leopard gecko.

1. How long have you been a race fan?
Pretty much all my life. I used to race little rabbits on my dad's shoes when i was like 1 yr old. Then started going to GT races at about 6 yrs old, and watching F1 races since late 80's

2. What was the first race you attended?
GT Races with my father... around 1984 or so. Dont remember much, but Porsche 911 won a lot, so i guess to me that's the perpetual champion car
Went to a Monaco F1 around 1991, but it wasnt in proper seats or anything... didnt get to see much, but it was amazing.

3. What was the first race you saw on television?
Wow... i dont remember. F1-wise I vaguely remember Niki lauda and Alain prost, and other categories i dont remember.

4. Name your three most favorite racing venues of all time.
Spa, Monaco, and the old Hockenheim and Nurburgring.

5. Who are you top 5 most favorite drivers?
Senna, Prost, Raikkonen, M Schumacher and Alonso.

1. How long have you been a race fan?

Pretty much since I could play with toys! I had race cars, scalextric etc. when I was very young and always loved cars in general.

France 1992

3. What was the first race you saw on television?

I don't know which race, all I know was that it was sometime in 1984 when (as I've said before on the forum), my mum laughed at me because apparantly I couldn't take my eyes off of Nikki Lauda's scarred face on the podium. She thinks I was horrified / scared.... I was only about 4, so it's fair enough!! First I really remember actually sitting and watching a full race would have been at the start of the 1986 season, I was excited to see Johnny Dumfries race as my uncle who knows him had been telling me how great a driver he was.

4. Name your three most favorite racing venues of all time.

Adelaide, Estoril, Monaco (not in any particular order).

5. Who are you top 5 most favorite drivers?

I find it really really difficult to round it down to five as I don't have an outright favourite, I have a list of favourites in my signature. I'll just list five of those here, not in a particular order of preferance; Hakkinen, Senna, Prost, M.Schumacher, Alboreto.

Got married last year (a few of the pictures on the forum), no kids or pets.

7. What is your Occupation – Industry?

Lawyer to trade, but I work as a full time lecturer / researcher at a University in Scotland and I love it.

8. What are your favorite things to do not related to racing?

I'm very into both watching and playing other sports. The last 6 months for me has been hell after seriously injuring my left leg and not being able to do anything. Finally was able to start doing some activities again 2 or 3 weeks ago. I play football and tennis amongst other things, and do a lot of competitive running (well did - I don't know how easily I'll get back to being competitive again) at middle distances, particularly 10km and half marathon, though I also do other distances - 5km, 10mile hill races etc.

I also love retro video games and have been a moderator on a retro video gaming forum for a few years.

9. What is your favorite food?

A few strange ones probably... I love pineapple, like ham and chorizo sandwiches, any pasta is good too.

10. What do you drink?

I don't drink alcohol pretty much at all. Very occasionally if having something with dinner when out for something in particular I'll have a couple of glasses of wine, but it has to be Spanish wine (usually something simple like Vina Sol), or maybe Italian. Anything else gives me a headache. The vast amount of time I stick to diet soft drinks, either Diet Irn Bru, Pepsi Max or Coke Zero.

11. What did you want to be when you grew up?

Lol, a few funny ones here, when I was like 7-10 I wanted to be a professional wrestler like my hero Macho Man Randy Savage! Then I had it in my head as a teenager that I wanted to be an optometrist. I went and did a degree in I.T. straight from school, worked and hated that line of work. Still didn't know what I wanted to do when I was 23 so continued on at Uni part time doing evening classes in Marketing, Psychology and Law. Hated marketing, loved both psychology and law and eventually bit the bullet and went back and completed the law degree full time. Never looked back since.

12. If any… Who is the most famous person you know?

F1 related - Paul Di Resta's Aunt and Mum (my wife works with his Aunt), non F1-related - Joe Egan (the other front man with the recently deceased Gerry Rafferty from Steelers Wheel), he wrote and performed a number of famous songs including 'stuck in the middle with you'. Ally McCoist (no explanation needed I'm sure).

13. List the top 5 TV shows of all time.

Non sports related? Ok I have loads but I'll name five; Red Dwarf, 10 O'Clock Live - it's genius, Prime Ministers Questions - it's comedy gold even though it shouldn't be!, Boardwalk Empire, the old BBC Narnia series from 1988-1991ish.

14. List your top 5 movies of all time.

Again I have loads, but here's five - The original 'Dawn of the Dead' (NOT the crap remake!), Any of the 'Carry on' Series, A great little independent film called 'Starter for ten', Step Brothers (possibly the funniest film of all time bar none!), Any Christmas film - I'm a sucker for them!

15. Who is in the image on your Avatar and what's the significance.

Mika Hakkinen - I so hoped he might attempt a comeback when he tested a modern McLaren back in '06/'07, as he retired far too young - I think he could have taken a couple of years out to remotivate himself (he'd clearly lost motivation by 2001) then came back and had another good 5 years, but sadly it wasn't to be.

Guitar, when you put your ipod docks on full blast and can play along fluently to Led Zeppelin, its the most amazing thing ever.
Going out, as in drinking at clubs, hate pubs, so boring and theres no birds there, clubs is what its all about.

-Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, they class as one immense film.
- Dirty Harry Quadrology (Im a bit of a Eastwood fan you see)
- Schindlers List, Pure amazingness in filmmaking
- The Beach, panned by critics, almost made me cry. I can see that story being my ideal life so much, man travels, find secret island in middle of thailand where its naturally beautiful, makes love to pretty french girl in midnight beach, self sufficient island of good moraled people completely cut off from the rest of the world. Pure bliss. Until it all crumbles and he loses touch with said girl. That was a bit of a downer.
- Spirited Away- Like above, strikes your heart and really makes you emotional, love Studio Ghibli films.

My family likes to recall how I used to do some kind of fake sleep-walking thing at age six in order to watch a race.

Kyalami...1980 something. My dad had some clout with someone or other and we had excellent seats. I just remember training my binocs on Senna the whole time.
