Just read through this entire post and FRAFPDD you are either a wind up merchant ,or clearly wasn't around in the years 1984-1994.Nearly all your statements are about what you see in record books ,they don't always show the full story.
On another note why are so many Senna fans getting wound up over this thread
It's about getting the best out of a car not saying Vettel is the greatest thing since sliced bread
Who could i possibly be trying to wind up? Senna fans?
If you dont do anything less then catch a tan on the rays of sun coming out of Sennas a*se they get pissed off, they are THEE most fanboyish fans of anyone, not Alonso, Hamilton or Schumi.......Why Senna fans are given the right to act like total tools and disrespect any driver they wish just cause their driver cannot be attacked by a de-facto law which deems those who break it a heretic i dont know.
Im sorry if that goes totally against the grain of 99 percent of people but i do NOT find him as great as made out, the best driver ever, sure i can see exactly why that is, but nowhere near the level many claim. The level that he could drive todays HRT round the outside line of eau rouge past a red bull, or add 5 seconds to any car he drives.
As for the clearly wasnt around bit, no i wasnt, but your assumption is that anyone who didnt see it arent allowed to debate with anyone who did, im a shepherd, not a sheep, and im not going to be dictated what my thoughts are by people all with their own agendas/bias/nostalgia, that would most likely misrepresent what it was actually like. The races are widely available on dodgy sites, but theres a whole library's worth to go through, and ive seen enough to know half of what im talking about.
Irony is after all the dust is settled, Senna (believe it or not i dont care) is my favourite driver just behind Prost, which goes to show just how bad this godlike status of Senna is, that one of his fans looks like a hater, purely cause i dont kiss his a*se.
Alain Prost - Lewis Hamilton - Kamui Kobayashi - Fernando Alonso - Kimi Raikkonnen - Jenson Button
