Next month Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel will open the Red Bull Ring (formerly known as the A1 Ring). There will also be a demonstration run of past F1 cars, including last year's title-winning RB6.

I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely LOVE this circuit and I've missed it a lot since it was dropped in 2003. We have some incredible memories from this circuit, and the setting is beautiful.

If it returned to the F1 calendar, I would be over the moon. However, it still looks highly unlikely at the moment.... Do we think there'll ever be a chance of an F1 comeback for Austria?

I much preferred the old layout, but still a good circuit.

I loved that race, let's hope they didn't change it too much!

I haven't seen it since DM upgraded it. I was referring to the changes made a while ago, before they stopped racing there. It used to be much bigger and the horseshoe part was bigger and less angular. But even after the changes it was a pretty good circuit, just not as good as the original.

Yeah it's still a great circuit. The only things going against it are;

One of the reasons Bernie goes to the asian tracks is for the money. RedBull have plenty of it so lets hope we get a race there.

Fantastic track! The year before this one Jos Verstappen finnished 6th in Arrows, on of the best races ever for me!!!

IMHO, that "driver" was one of the biggest mistakes in F1! But, the explosions from Panis/Villneueve era, ah...

It would be nice to see F1 back at the A1 ring again. Just seem to throw up some interesting moments, good or bad.

Infact, talking of Takuma Sato and the A1 Ring, do you remember that huge accident between Sato and Nick Heidfeld at Turn 3 (Remus) caused when the latter's car just snapped out of control going up to the entry of the turn? That was in 2002, and was something of a shock........ as was the drop of the flag at race's end....
