Getting his own way off track was Schumis real strenght, but Lewis has even upstaged him in this respect by getting a top drive as a rookie. :)

Schumi also got his way 'on-track' by basically walking all over the competition also  . Yes Lewis had a phenomenal rookie season but then again Michael was not in a top/front running team his rookie year like Lewis was. Once in a front running car he was a WC two year's running now we just need to see if Lewis has the fortitude as a driver to become WC in '08.

The first car Schumacher scored points in was the Benetton B191. It was a handy car, it was no McLaren or Williams beater but it was certainly the best of the rest. Piquet got his final win in it (albeit rather gifted to him), Moreno managed to set fastest lap at Spa (before getting paid off for Schumacher) and then Schumacher managed to harrass Mansell and Senna at the Spanish Grand Prix. He was also flying in Adelaide in the soaking wet before "dissapearing" (apparently he was punted off by Alesi).

Perhaps the only let-down was the Pirelli tyres it used, they weren't as good as Goodyears, and this sort-of showed when Benetton started 1992 with the interim B191B with Goodyears and Schumacher and Brundle qualified 3rd and 4th in Mexico, AHEAD of both McLarens as well. Having said this, Schumacher might have been able to sneak a win in that car, but eventually he managed his first win in the B192. :)

Cool, I'm watching them both after I finish watching Jackie Stewart slagging off the 1988 Lotus Honda...

Thanks fellas.

Listen to Senna slagging Prost off for not battling with him in the same car, funny stuff...
