Bill still posts here? You never see him in many threads, I guess he pops on only when he feels a bit frisky so comes on to talk about the only thing that turns him on... Lewis Hamilton.

personally i think lewis wont leave mclaren, because they are a top team and there is no doubt about that, and myownlilias, to say that lewis is complaning all the time about something,is a little harsh, im not saying your wrong, but you only had to look at vettel last year at hungary, he acted like a child!,

So Lewis has to be "Perfect" to win WDC? While Seb crashes left and right and has a ton of failures and still came on top and won WDC.
The MP4-24/25 were not WDC contenders by a long shot.It was Lewis' aggressivnes that took him far and if he had an on par car he wouldn't need to be. Jenson drove mistake free and see where that got him.

Exactly. Lewis made 1 real mistake the entire season and that has immediately become "The WDC throwing mistake".

Alonso jumpstarted, cut chicanes, crashed, basically drove like a ninny in the first half and he is the heroic 'comeback' of 2010. What a JOKE.

In my opinion Hamilton was responsible for his collision with Webber in Singapore; Hamilton had plenty of room to go around the outside but elected to chop Webber; Mark Webber simply held his line; that has to go down as a Hamilton mistake, it was exactly the same situation as Webber/Vettel in Turkey, Webber is entitled to hold his line and make the overtaking driver go around!

In a lot of other peoples opinions it is Lewis' fault as well that Alonso clipped him,but hey what can you do.

You can't single out Lewis for his mistakes while not the others it's just plain illogical thinking! What if What if, the top 4 all made mistakes funnily enough Lewis made the least yet gets the most flak? Again illogical!

So does this mean the tide is turning and Lewis might not spend his entire career with McLaren?

Who's to say? It's probably bluster, but now Nineteen Management have turned up there's a serious wildcard in play. Still, if he does leave McLaren, it's hard to imagine he won't regret it at some stage. But to be honest, I still don't really think it's likely to happen.

Why are you homing in on only Lewis? If you want to play the IF game, IF his tyre had held up for 1 more lap in Spain, he's still WDC! FACT! Please don't give me "he pushed too hard"...Bridgestone admitted it was a compound 'failure'.

If you list out each drivers mistakes (Top 4 in WDC) you might see it is very unfair to just list out Lewis' "what ifs" mistakes.

I'm homing in on Hamilton as he is the subject of this thread; is he not? Lewis talks about driving for a team that can deliver him world titles; McLaren gave him a car in 2010 that was capable of winning the title; forget the technical failures; all his rivals had those as well; maybe with the exception of Jenson who simply wasn't good enough last season. He had two avoidable accidents that lost him a handful of points which lost him the title in my opinion. I have nothing against Hamilton but it is a fact that he threw away a good haul to points that could have won the drivers title.

Whilst your absolutely right, i have no qualm "admitting" my driver is, always has, and likely always will be reckless.

Hammer is right in a way in saying your singling out Lewis, cause Vettel, Webber and Alonso (In your own words "forget the technical failures) also had many moments in which they f*cked(excuse my french) up their chances of the title. Its not right to single Lewis as the only one really, despite being the topic of the thread, because what you say applies actually rather equally if not more to the other three title fighters.

I don't get the issue  this thread concerns Lewis Hamilton, we all know that Vettel, Webber and Alonso have made more mistakes but that's beside the point, Hamilton is griping about not having a car that is capable of winning the world drivers title; which McLaren have provided every season he has driven for them with the exception of 2009 which was dreadful!
