Hamilton's situation with tyres is a bit better

Mm, it's not night and day though. Button and Vettel bailed early so the tyres could have been in a worse condition than they are and, at any rate, the pair of them know how to eke out some extra mileage on a set of tyres.

Lets hope for the first time this year Hamilton being on the grippy side gets him past Jenson or else he'll be stuck behind him the whole race.

I'm hoping he doesn't. I want to see if Button can challenge Vettel on race pace without another car getting in the way. :)

Newsflash: RIght now Button is in Lewis' way! Lets face it, if anyone can keep Vettel on his toes, its Lewis. Remember Abu Dhabi last year. Lewis was chasing him all the way, Jenson was daydreaming somewhere way back in 3rd or 4th taking care of his adorable tyres.

Jenson is a good driver, don't forget that!

I completely agree, he's 'good'.

blee blee blee

:hehe:
It was funny when I typed it :P !

No it was sad to see you had to resort to 10 year old comeback when you were stumped. I almost shed a tear for you. :crying:

So, can Red Bull fix Webber's KERS for the race or are they bound by parc ferme? Potentially another exciting drive to be seen from him tomorrow. He has 3 new sets of softs to go with, his pace will be so quick!

Nice job by Rosberg today. And Di Resta, every race he looks stronger and stronger!

The tyre situation for tomorrow is interesting and hard to call... Hamilton has an extra set of softs (a massive, massive plus) but Button looked very good on the harder tyres before, and a long stint on them may prove to be a way to go i think. Plus you have the factor of the Ferraris being a lot quicker in the race. Set to be dry and average temperature for the race.

Totally uncalled for to say Jenson " is an obstacle" to lewis,

should i remind you that not only is Jensons race pace always around Lewis' he's just outdone him with no stupid failure or whatnot in quali, if hes fast enough to do that, why cant he challenge Vettel but Hamilton can?

As long as someone does ffs, this needs to stop for the sake of good sport.

Although i am 90 percent sure Hamilton will beat Jenson into turn 1, not least cause being on the dirtier side is much more disadantaged then before, Lewis is actually immense at starts but so far this year hes been bogged down.

I'm not sure it will be as big an advantage, though, since both Button and Vettel only did an outlap on their second set. Still, if it makes it more interesting, then great. :D

unless he stuffs up the start vettel will be away before DRS is available. its all ifs and buts, but really mclaren realistically will struggle if he gets away cleanly.

ps: BRING ON THE RAIN.
