Honestly that on the engine cover is just NAFF! I hate it...get rid....It just looks out of place....Cheap & Tacky...Ferrari is about passion and allto of dosh, this looks like my 4 month old son has grabbed a pen and just scribbled....HORRID.

While watching F1 this year, I often find myself thinking for a split-second I see a Marlborough logo when it's really just a Ferrari.

Yes, the similarity came up when we were discussing the logo when they first announced it. I find it kind of stunning really. It's actually pretty impressive. I'd almost be disappointed if it turns out it really was a coincidence.

Well I hate Ferrari with a passion but I commend them with their design. They are getting big bucks from Marlboro, and this is a great effort to go around the rules - subliminal messages.

I never agreed with the tobacco sponsorship ban bullsh*t, if people are stupid enough to see their teams carrying the logos and start smoking/increase their cigarrete number a day, well that's just too bad. This is a business, and I personally miss McLaren's "West" sponsor logo, their liveries were awesome those days. I never turned into a smoker by loving the logo either, so there you go.

Eh, Your Mileage May Vary. I think it's clever how they've managed to be evocative, but they're kidding themselves if they think they're gaining traction for the Marloboro brand subliminally. Subliminal Advertising - indeed, subliminal messaging for the most part - is a myth. Especially that BS about inserting a single frame of a message into a video, but more broadly it just plain doesn't work no matter how you're trying to do it. Subliminal Stimuli have been proven, in psycholgical study, to have only a fleeting impact on a person's thoughts.
