Drop the 'red text' ok as it mean's nothing! FYI the XR4Ti was the shitty version of the Cosworth version in Europe thus the body style was the same so basically the engine and that huge spoiler were the only difference.

It was still ugly. MUCH faster, but still ugly.

about the red text, maybe it's his trademark, his expression of individuality... you wouldn't want to deprive someone of that.

The Aztec is horrific but the rest aren't that bad; infact I was considering buying a Grand Prix a little while back!

As for the Ford Sierra XR4 / Merkur XR4Ti, compared to some of the cars on show in this thread; it's actually a reasonable looking car!

In America the Pontiac GTOs I've seen have body panels that don't line up properly. Possibly one of the reasons it's no longer made..

So does that mean that the in Australia body panels of a Holden don't align properly on the opposite site?

If that were the case it wouldn't be the highest selling car in Australia.
Oh and it is still being made, blame the global financial crisis for the cancellation of the Pontiac models! Export of the car as Chevrolet Lumina continues to many markets across the world. And take a look on google at the Holden Caprice being sold as a new Chevy US cop car! body work is fine.

The original VW Beetles were also cheaply made and they were somewhat successful ... so cheap has never been the problem when making cars, it's bad design and even worse workmanship that's the kiss of death.

Yes, they are horrible. Didn't know they were Aussie designs, but there you have it. The Monaro looks like an overgrown Ford Escort, and the other looks like a budget sedan with some extra vents and hood scoops. Nothing interesting or eye-catching about them at all.
