My prediction is that he will match or beat Schumachers record.

I wish him all the luck in the world. I have seen no one in the past 14yr's, other than Michael, with as much potential to dominate F1 as Lweis.

His career has been fast tracked by the standards of all other drivers. It could happen. Personally, if it happens it happens, but I hope it doesn't happen in the same way Schumacher got his records.

It wont happen in the Schumacher way(I hope!) Dont think lewis wants it like that.

I agree with that, I think that L.H. will be a high quality chanp. with integrity.

Well he's driving for a team that was disqualified from the Constructors championship and only escaped being disqualified for 2 years because of commercial interests.

Throw that in with criticism he's received for being an aggressive driver and I would say he hasn't made all that good a start.

That's if we want to start talking about integrity...

Well, if we do want to talk about integrity, or, rather the lack of it, we could go through the Schumacher era, but I wont, cos it would take too long and most of it has already been said.

You can't compare Schumacher and Lewis. Schumacher cut his teeth properly in F1, made a stunning debut in a bad car, drove his way into a front running team and build a strong relationship with his employer through hard work and good results.

Lewis is a Rookie who started in a front running car, he doesn't know what it's like to drive a bad F1 car, it would be an insult to Schumacher to even think about comparing the two.

The point I'm making, is if we are looking at things from an integrity point of view, everyone has bones in their closet, it just depends on what perspective you are looking at things from.

Besides, I've heard all of Schumacher's criticisms 1000 times over, I read Autosport

If he continues the way he's started he's going to re-write the record books, and some...

Thats why I didnt repeat them, but I agree that everyone has bones in the cupboard, and that lewis had a somewhat privilaged start, but he did earn it, by telling RD that he wanted to drive a McL one day, when he was a nipper. He then went out and won everything he got involved in, so it didn't just come on a plate. RD saw the potential.
Getting his own way off track was Schumis real strenght, but Lewis has even upstaged him in this respect by getting a top drive as a rookie. :)
