If RedBull dont have KERS i think they might get swallowed up this race.

That is one heck of a straight and the Renault engine isnt the strongest either.

From what I understand, with kers on the car and it's broken it's worse than not having kers at all. If they get a working kers button, then RBR will destroy everyone but if they keep using kers and they break it's going to keep them in check.

I'm hoping Vettel can be toppled this time around. If McLaren have a trouble-free run, they may just do that. 8-)

Can't wait to see some tussles down that big straight

Just hope someone actually challenges Vettel during the race....

The race is less a problem than Q3. Excepting Hülkenberg's freak pole at Interlagos, Vettel has taken pole the last five consecutive races. Including Interlagos, 9 of the last 13. It's been seven races since he's not been on the front row.

Well, McLaren and Ferrari will have a best oportunity so far to attack Red Bull. They have stronger engines and KERS. Only if Red Bull runs KERS, they will have trouble overtaking them.

And yes, Vettel's starts this year are amazing.

Indeed! Quite a turn around from last season, when Vettel was criticised at various points throughout the season for struggling to turn poles into victories. Not that it mattered in the end though. As old Bill the Bard said, All's Well That Ends Well.

There's only been two races? One Hamilton was bogged down and had to fight off webber into tirn 1

And Malaysia pole was moved cause offline is so marbley , credit where it's due, let's not start touching ourselves in sensitive areas and keep a bit of objectivity.

That said I've never sung vettels praises as a driver but he's really looking a worthy championship so far this year, but in pure legacy over statistics terms he needs to show he can win from anything other then pole, And his overtaking, but his personality is cracking and he really looks worthy this year, unlike my favourite Hamilton who's best year was 2007 and hasn't looked to improve since.

Surprisingly enough last year his teammate was challenging for poles and wins and this year fighting for scraps

I'm sure the unchallenged thus unbeatable while making him look good in the process German Wonder Kid fits well in the Austrian Fizzy Drink Camp. Or as Webber would say; Not bad for a #1 driver

I am amazed at how weak Webber has been so far this year. Plus I am amazed to see the Renaults beating the Mclarens and Ferrari's to the podiums

Not sure what this is about cuz he did a hell of a drive in Malaysia to make up 5 grid places without any KERS whatsoever and several good overtakes, especially the one on massa on turns 1 and 2. australia was underwhelming, you're right about that, but I think he might have locked down 4th place there too if his team hadn't messed up his last pit stop. He'll be his usual self after a race or two and get some wins

Interesting. Funny how Vettel clearly doesn't need KERS, but Webber clearly DOES. I wonder if they'll opt for different KERS strategies for both drivers. Probably not.

Explain please

I think he's referring to the last two GPs where Vettel has won, and Webber... hasn't done nearly as well. Both cars were apparently having KERS issues.

I can't imagine the extra power being a driver preference. If the reliability isn't sorted I can see the benefits in not running maybe in Monaco or Hungary. But on other tracks it's a no brainer like Canada spa or monza
