Button is indeed much better in handling the Pirelli tyres...

No he isnt. He was bettr on the hards but he was also tinkering with his set up. Lewis was better on the softs.

Remind me again, who finnished 2nd? :hehe:

Surely you dont think its that simple? You disappoint me. Jens did great today. Not the point. Who finnished 2nd last week. Who got rear ended today??

For starters, average race it really didn't live up to the hype, i think it could have if the rain really did come in true Malaysian style.

The TV coverage of vettle was so poor, there was the odd shot of him down the main straight but really didn't see much from him, i guess yes he was out front but well wasn't exactly well covered.

lewis's race went from painful to downright awful, that mclaren again looks poor when closely following another car, understandable why he was so upset in the press interviews after the race.

Alonso and Hamilton both penalised - wtf!!
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/90614

I thought it was a racing incident, the commentary on BBC said that Alonso was trying to prevent it but was so close the aerodynamics basically made the touch inevitable! we have seen far worse incidents happen without penalty!

I don't agree that the race was only average. It was by no means a classic, but there was lots going on, and different performance levels from different drivers/teams at different times made it a good watch.

As for the penalties for Alonso and Hamilton, that is just stupid. Complete over-reaction. :nono:

bad stewarding

Hamilton's is a little clearer however still undeserved, he only moved a small amount.

Alonso's is a terrible decision. it sets a dangerous precedent as now it would seem ANY contact accidental or otherwise other than at the start is now a penalty offence

so much for improving the show...

Lewis penalized for changing lines too many times to defend. This wasn't when they touched but on the pit straight. Technically it's true but how many times do we see it go unpunished. But Alonso shouldn't be penalised he did nothing wrong!

Am I dead, or Bud just said that Alonso has not to be blamed for something? :hehe:

You guys wouldn't believe how longive refrainedfrom postingin orderto reserve some credibility in whati wanted to post in my initial still simmering anger.

Vettel fanboys, yourgetting way to bigfor your boots. Fine to keen his wins but to make increasingly absurd claims about his talent and then berate other drivers who didn't happento have a rocketship underneath them. You need pegging down a notch.

Secondly, it will be an absolutetravesty for vettelto havethe same number of titles as alonso and more then Hamilton this year, I mean that. Absolute travesty if he wins it, not leastcause this year even his teamate is doing awful.

Hamilton started second and finished 7th? Thry didn't actually clear up why thisis so can someone objective tell me why he was so slow? It wasn't even coveredin his postrace interview?

Then my nephew was sick on me halfway through the race.

Oh yeah and it was a snoozefest, so was Australia, I don't care if it's alonso or button someone stop vettel winning every race it's making f1 so poor.

If China is the same I might just write off this year as a keke rosberg or andretti, don't like seeing mediocre drivers in spaceships winning titles on car alone.
