Lewis messed his tyres on every stint.
During the strugle with Heidfeld on start, later in the last corner, and so on...

Keep telling yourself that... he was within 3 seconds of Vettel and the second set of primes did him in, there was clearly a problem with those as he had to come in after about 7 or 8 laps again for a 3rd set of primes. Otherwise he would have been breathing down Vettel's neck.

It would be interesting to see telemetry on lh car to find out if he slowed down since he was having probs.

Haha you're funny to even suggest such bs, but its typical from you! Always fishing
But really the best part of Alonso not knowing how to overtake was him not being on the podium and finishing behind Massa! :D

:rofl::rofl: and what is typical from you? Let me guess more bs. :banghead:

Lh was having issues with his car and maybe he eased off the gas -not intentionally- and fa ended up in the back of his car.
Anyways I don't expect u to understand much of it because of your blinders :rofl:

As Martin Brundle has just said "their is no question that Alonso misjudged" it's Alonso fault without question.

Was it intensional, nope but it was a silly misjudgment by a driver who let his anger get the better of him.

Yeah, seems like if RB can get KERS working for if only just the start of races, it'll help Webber immensely.

I think they will get it working for the next race...

Oh, come on, Vettel was driving it the way he wanted, he saved his tyres quite a lot!

Not what Vettel said in the press conference.

I wonder if Lewis was just having problems with the hard tyres in general. He could definately match Vettel when they were both on the soft but he kinda drifted away once he put hards on, and Jenson said the car felt better on hards so I think its something to do with the setup Lewis had

No it was clearly a problem with the 2nd set of primes... he was posting 43's with those, and when he came back in for the 3rd set, he was back down to the 41's.

Possibly. Jenson has just said that he was adding front wing angle with each pit stop which would help the situation, I imagine.

He was definately worse on the 3rd set but the 2nd set werent as good as he was on the softs, whereas Jens ws better on the hards.

Button is indeed much better in handling the Pirelli tyres...

No he isnt. He was bettr on the hards but he was also tinkering with his set up. Lewis was better on the softs.

Was that the stop where the tyres took a long time to come off and he went out into traffic? I'll have to get a copy of the race and rewatch how all this stuff unfolded today. It was a very interesting GP
