Great job by heidfeld. Good to see button on the podium and very pleased it was not hamilton. Alonso should have been up there but there is always next time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this race; Vettel was excellent; I get the feeling he could have gone faster even with the KERS failure if he wanted as proved by his consecutive fastest laps mid race. I'm happy for Jenson to get something out of the race; he stuck with it and leads his team mate by two points. Great drive from Heidfeld to finish on the podium, back to back podiums for Renault; shame that Petrov decided to launch his car (literally) in the closing stages and breaking his steering column! Alonso had only himself to blame for not finishing on the podium!

Not sure why Lewis pitted so late, surely the time lost by pitting was more than staying out on that disasterous set of primes!

Not bad for a drinks company.

Getting old.

I guess they were trying to avoid pitting him again, but they realised they needed to when he fell off the road.

It would be interesting to see telemetry on lh car to find out if he slowed down since he was having probs. Maybe he did not expect fa to be that close. But anyways he ended up behind and button on podium.

Also beautiful drives by Seb, Jenson and Nick.

Jenson lives up to the expectation of making the tyres last longer this time

this is getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO old. If McLaren had a bit more brain Lewis would have easily been 2nd. But whatever, in a week he'll show you once again that Jenson isn't the same class

Haha you're funny to even suggest such bs, but its typical from you! Always fishing
But really the best part of Alonso not knowing how to overtake was him not being on the podium and finishing behind Massa! :D

Alonso speak for "I smashed into the back of Lewis"

"We touched"

:rofl::rofl: and what is typical from you? Let me guess more bs. :banghead:

Lh was having issues with his car and maybe he eased off the gas -not intentionally- and fa ended up in the back of his car.
Anyways I don't expect u to understand much of it because of your blinders :rofl:

I don't think it was McLaren's fault entirely. Jenson did a 3stop and so did Vettel on car that is meant to be harder on it tyres, so it must have been possible for Lewis to keep the tyres alive. Then again Webber seems like he always wears them out quickly based on his last to races.

You do tend to "ease up on the gas" when you're going round a corner. Alonso misjudged his move and made an error. There is no discussion here.

I never suggested it was intentional. Lh had issues before the incident. It is a little weird for fa to crash into his back like that. Is it possible? Yeh but not that likely.
