I thought I'd start a thread on names on racetracks. I was wondereing which driver's (or other F1 personalities) bits of tracks had been named after. I was wondering if Lewis had one? Turns out he has, and Murray Walker and Brundle http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/news/ ... ewsID=6492 has Vettel got one? Which is your favourite? I mean by name not by how good it is to race on. I like the Senna esses, has a ring to it.

Eau Rouge...Pouhon, both badass corners in Spa. Unique names too.

130R? Weird name but it works

Parabolica, another of my favourites.

No. The Hamilton Street Circuit is called that because it is in a place called Hamilton (South Island in New Zealand)

Its a Norfolk track that has recently undergone development. They're saying it's now the best for spectators and for drivers. Who knows? maybe we'll get the European race there :D

Loads of tracks have Senna corners it seems. Nurburgring has the Schumacher chicane (i think it's the chicane). Erm... Brands Hatch has several, eg Graham Hill bend. Was it Adelaide that had Brabham Straight? I'm struggling off the top of my head...

BTW i hate that new Snetterton layout... the old circuit was brilliant and they've Tilke-fied it.
