Yeah they did in morning practice. No setup work, just did a shake down.

I'm not basing my prediction on the timings today, just think Nick is vastly underrated and Petrov very overrated due to one showing 2 weeks back.

i think you're wrong about Petrov. I think he was under a lot of pressure last year and still showed well. Ive not based my desicion on just this years performance, I liked him a lot last year and thought him underrated and unfairly compared to his team mate.

Petrov has gotten 0 support from the team. And, the support he recently got was in the form of 'hopefully we get more sponsors from russia'... :censored: that.

It better rain, gives Alonso a chance, forget Massa, its team orders time again, Ferrari are too far behind - no rain and their both screwed, rain and Massa's screwed but Alonso could get a good position.

:) i was hoping for no rain... but perhaps fp changed my mind... :hehe:
A wet race lottery would be nice...... may the 4th best cart win!!

As always I am hoping that Jenson will win; but failing that; Mark Webber to win...

These teams orders; are team orders allowed unreservedly now or has it reverted to pre 2003 rules where there has to be a justifiable reason for the order? If it's reverted to the pre 2003 rules then Ferrari might find it hard to justify a team order at this stage of the season as the team could be brought up on bringing the sport in disrepute charges!

The bringing sport into disrepute rule remains I think, and team orders are completely allowed - the rule banning them has been removed.

Was thinking of starting a thread to discuss team orders in 2011. Heard Force India team used them in Australia.

What's the point of being a "team" if you can't order your guys around?

Because Ferrari do have a habit of making their team orders blantent which makes of mockery of the sport; hence bringing the sport into disrepute.

Maybe this is a dumb thought, but if you don't want team orders, then only let each team have one car.

Or look at this another way, why have a drivers championship if it's a team sport; only have a constructors championship!

But that's moving away from the subject matter; let's keep the discussion to the Malaysian GP!

LIke I said, he's got potential. But WDC material type? I dont see it. I'll be glad to be proven wrong, he's a very likable chap and he was a massive help in Abu Dhabi last year, helped prevent me from crying blood. :drink:

A bottle of Pinot Grigio has guaranteed that I'm not staying up to watch qualifying tonight.

A 40 oz malt liquor will keep me up for qualifing.
