This. I dont understand depite the vast technical knowledge us F1 fans have, sometimes we dont realise that its not just, "Webber only nearly beat Vettel cause Vettel had more breakdowns".
It doesnt really take too much thinking to work out why, i dont remember Jenson breaking down like Lewis did, and i certainly dont remember Prost breaking down anywhere near where Senna did. That the sole reason Prost in particular was anywhere close to Senna for WDC's his style had a critical advantage of finishing races almost all the time, Senna went for broke and crashed/ ruined his car a lot.
Also ive seen it twice now, and a lot off topic- F1er and Nish IIRC have both said recently english isnt their first language, considering how fluent you both are in it, what are your first languages? And where are you from?
The fact that Webber didn't have any reliability problems last season makes me think that there may be something in the driving styles that causes Vettel to work the car harder...
