Why He drives for the most successful team in history and gets paid millions.
Jenson aint the best passer so I dont know if he did well or Jenson did poor.

If I would have read this a month ago before watching the 2008 season I would have said MASSA stfu and go home.

But no, he is an incredible driver and can win a world title. I think 2008 would have been quite a blow to him after just barely losing the title in his home country. 2009 Ferrari just seemed to suck. 2010 comes and you have Alonzo getting special treatment (sorry fan boys but Its sooo true), and now 2011, where he has the same challanges as last year, he even said that he was extremely ready for 2011 and was going to be a contender and his POS car lets him down.


I WOULD BE PISSED OFF TOO.

Lets just remember who has the loyalty here. You really think Alonzo will stick with Ferrari if they won't push out a winning car soon? If so you are naive. He wants more championships just as much as the next and he isn't the kind of guy who will leave with the "the experience was great!" no, he wants to go down in history. By any means needed. Felipe might leave soon after his long run just for being in a team that is completely a joke.

He was a lot slower than Alonso in Australia, don't think he gets to blame that on the car.

Massa needs to improve, or Ferrari will throw him out.

he is talnted and I have ti agree with you on that but he needs the team backing him, 2008 as you said proved it, the team backed him. He nearly won. But the crash has had a huge effect him..I just think he is scared

Felipe Massa has accused Jenson Button of ignoring the rules in light of their on-track feud in Australia on Sunday.

Button's bid for a podium finish at Melbourne's Albert Park was wrecked when he was given a drive-through penalty for cutting a corner as he attacked Massa. The McLaren star's move followed 10 laps of frustration behind the Ferrari as Button tried on several occasions to pass the Brazilian but without success.

"I expected him to give back the position after he got by," said Massa in his blog on Ferrari's website. "The rules are clear you must do this if you cut a chicane, and Jenson is experienced enough to know that without having to wait for the team to tell him what to do."

He added: "After he got by (team-mate Fernando) Alonso also got past me as I ended up being quite slow because of the fight with Jenson.

"Given Fernando pitted before me, that left Jenson with another chance to give me back position, but he did not."

Despite the skirmish with Button, there is no doubt the Ferraris failed to live up to their pre-season billing, with Massa at a loss as to why.

"The Australian Grand Prix did not go the way myself and the team had expected, as we were not as competitive as we had thought we would be, based on the winter performance," added Massa.

"If there is one lesson we take away with us after the opening round is that we have a lot of work to do.

"We urgently need to find out exactly what happened in Australia, understanding what we did and what the other teams did.

"We did not come away with as many points as we thought we could score in the first race, so we have to get back to where we want to be by the next race (in Malaysia in nine days' time.)"
