spankyham gamely responded to requests that he change his avatar to a posted picture. What avatar would you suggest for other forum members? No insults (implied or otherwise) please.

i've tried changing my avatar a few times, and adding a nice picture sig; but i always have problems bringing the file size down to whatever the amount of kbs required :irked:

Came out fighting indeed.

Windows? Try resizing in Paint and saving as jpg. If the file's too big, save as bmp then save as jpg again. You'll lose resolution but it probably won't matter at only 165 x 200 pixels.

Grab one of ours, like mind which is 165x200 then paint or PS your pic to our size or on Paint, copy and paste 2 copies and size it up height and width then use a source like Photobucket to use the off link tool to put it on.
