They will embalm him like Lenin and cart him around to each race. Propping him up by the start finish line. Maybe they could put a checkered flag in his arm and rig it to a button and he could wave the flag for the winner of the race.

But to answer your question I guess the rights owner becomes whatever gold digger manages to be on his arm when he dies, since I am sure to mate with him they demand to be put in the will? Maybe his ex wife Slavia gets the fortune, from what I can gather on Wikipedia most of the companies and wealth is in her name anyhow.

Yes his fortune is one thing, but you can't write in a job in the will can you? Or are you saying this is the due that OWNS formula 1? Maybe I am underestimating just what is position is with formula 1.

His companies own the TV rights to Formula 1 until the end of next year, hence why whoever gets the company gets the rights. After that I imagine it is an agreement between the FIA, FOTA, etc... If Bernie is still alive he is a shoe-in, if not I guess they vote on whoever gives them the best deal. Interesting discussion for sure.

I think you might be underestimating his position, given that several high end F1 people will tell you it'll take a couple of people just to cover everything that Bernie currently does. I think everyone underestimates his importance to F1 really. He might be a mentalist and i sure as hell disagree with a lot of his senile ideas, but at the same time i don't think they're all serious, just ways of getting people to do what he wants... he's a very clever person.

Well that's too bad. I was finding myself scouring the INDY car website and discovering these great road courses and I was like, an WHY can't F1 race here? Now I'm starting to see why outsiders might look on F1 as a snobbish sport. :nono:

But there does have to be a certain level of snobbishness if F1 is to remain the 'pinnacle of motorsport'... do you know what i'm getting at?

Apparently he wants to appoint a woman to succeed him.

Everyone else wants to do away with FOM and FOA altogether.
