If RB have a weakness, it hasn't surfaced yet.

The rift between drivers could be the germ of a weakness. Webber was left scratching his head and the trouncing he got coupled by the poor result knocked the wind out of him. You could tell in the post race interviews, he had no explanation for it.

Sorry for the off topic, but yes, Alonso should be targeting his 3rd, otherwise he's in the wrong business.

Ferrari is certainly 3rd best car atm,and I expect better showings from Webber and Jense.

5th and 6th place might become routine for Zo and sure as hell he wont be WDC like that.

Massa started quite decently, good start and held of Jenson - looked "racey" then. But after the pitstop just fell away from Alonso's and Webber's pace. I'll give him a chance and blame tyres.

The rift between drivers could be the germ of a weakness.

Can't see it happening again.

Yeah i think it was down to track temp, they should be fine on warmer tracks.

But saying that Redbull will be good on every track it seems so having this flaw is not a good thing when going for the title.

Agreed, I wish we didn't have the problem, but, it's there and so we have to do our best to manage it.

could not having a kers system turn out to be a weakness? (or is it easyto bolt one on if they want to?) If kers and wing thing work well together and RB havent got it........Lewis was pretty damn close to vettel at times on sunday.Could this be a weakness?

No. If anything, it's incredibly ominous.

I think Mark's going to be schooled by Vettel this year, much as I'd rather Mark took the fight to him.

yeah. Vettel has the mental edge already, from r1 alone. Mark picked up where he left last season, he already looks and sounds bitter.
same bug that made Alonso throw away the Hungary pts that cost him 2007, driving-wise he could have gotten better results, but going bitter about it definitely takes away. i think Webber should try being a bit more cynical and take it easy on himself, he'd perform much better if he goes calm about it.

I'm not sure comparisons to Massa are either fair nor relevant imo. Your wording appeared to imply that he has lost it this season, and if that is based on Australia alone (which it must be, right?) then it's a pretty bold assumption to say the least. Webber is still capable of winning races in that car, i think we can all agree that, surely. But he won't be going into any race weekend as the favourite in my eyes, which is no different to last season anyway.

Nah, my concern is more that Vettel is going to be too hot for Mark to handle for much of this year, buoyed by winning the championship, and I think it could get to Mark and affect his performance.

 this is the weakest link.

Regards massa. He was a good driver. And i dont think it was the spring thing that changed that.

Horner said they'll put it back on for Malaysia - it was a marginal decision for Melbourne due to the short straight there and their reliability concerns for KERS. But Sepang has two(!) long straights, so KERS will be more important to have and worth the risk.

Well red bull were running KERS during the winter. Christian Horner seemed to imply that they were having problems due to Adrian Newey's unwillingness to comprise aero for packaging. I guess their reliability issues with it are heat related and that's not good seeing as Melbourne was pretty cold. My guess is they will try and get it going to help counter the RBx's notable straight line performance deficit. Even so they seemed to do pretty well last year with that. Getting 4th (monza) and 1st(Valencia) when you expect them to be your weakest tracks is pretty damn good. I wonder if the reliability gremlins will get them this year... KERS related too.
