Yeah i think it was down to track temp, they should be fine on warmer tracks.

But saying that Redbull will be good on every track it seems so having this flaw is not a good thing when going for the title.

Agreed, I wish we didn't have the problem, but, it's there and so we have to do our best to manage it.

If RB have a weakness, it hasn't surfaced yet.

If Red Bull have a weakness; it's their drivers based on last years performance, too many unforced errors from their drivers, but Vettel seems to have matured since grabbing his WDC!

Red Bull have a weakness. It starts with an "M" and rhymes with Shark Zebber.

Wow, if the guy who wins 4 races and leads the title for most of the previous season is a weakness everyone else might as well not bother hey...

so far i think its been the straight line.... kers and eventually the wing gimmick. if they raced Hungary today Vettel would make a pit stop just to drink some Red bull with his team.

I never said he was a weakness last year. Need I remind you Felipe Massa came 2nd in the WDC in 2008? Whatever happened to with that anyway?

A 1kg spring in the face at ~150mph, imo. He simply hasn't been the same since.

i dont think Felipe's issues have all that much to do with the accident. To me its more of the same situation Kimi himself had in 2008...
in the case of australia, Felipe is much more at a disadvantage in cold tracks/tires, showed all last yr and definitely again on race 1. This may be reason enough to get another driver, but it doesnt exactly mean felipe is that bad.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Felipe's going to be performing badly for sure. I was just using him as an example to demonstrate what I as getting at - drivers aren't always as good as they have been.

I think Mark's going to be schooled by Vettel this year, much as I'd rather Mark took the fight to him.

Meh, he was a good driver, not great as you say but was very good on his day.

I think Mark's going to be schooled by Vettel this year, much as I'd rather Mark took the fight to him.

I agree with this but i think my original point still stands. I'm not sure comparisons to Massa are either fair nor relevant imo. Your wording appeared to imply that he has lost it this season, and if that is based on Australia alone (which it must be, right?) then it's a pretty bold assumption to say the least. Webber is still capable of winning races in that car, i think we can all agree that, surely. But he won't be going into any race weekend as the favourite in my eyes, which is no different to last season anyway.

Definitely gonna be a tough uphill battle for Alonso considering how the first race went yet it was only the first race so...

Nah, my concern is more that Vettel is going to be too hot for Mark to handle for much of this year, buoyed by winning the championship, and I think it could get to Mark and affect his performance.

could not having a kers system turn out to be a weakness? (or is it easyto bolt one on if they want to?) If kers and wing thing work well together and RB havent got it........Lewis was pretty damn close to vettel at times on sunday.Could this be a weakness?

Regards massa. He was a good driver. And i dont think it was the spring thing that changed that.
