BMW have been keen to keep Glock's services, but in the end Glock is free from the Test Driver Posistion, and is all but confirmed for Toyota.

It'll be interesting next year, Truli is fast, so i wonder can Glock match that pace, and can the 2 fight for podiums at all.



So that leaves Alonso one option really, Renault

I like Trulli and think he puts in some superb quali laps but rarely performs so well in the race. I think Timo will be the faster(after possibley a settling in period)

Agreed RC, Trulli's never really had the consistency to stay fast through the race distance. Interesting to read what ITV said about his contract. Glock will hopefully be good at Toyota, I thought he did better than Pantano when he replaced him at Jordon.

There's no better way to test a driver than to throw him directly 'into the fire'. The same could also be said regarding Lewis.

I just think Toyota need a big name to carry them forward. Alonso, Schumacher, Heidfeld, Kimi...

They need one of the top 5 to help them out of the Abyss... They have been giving no hopers chances for too long...

They also did the same for Rosberg, we all know what he did on his debut as well and he was GP2 Champion like Hamilton and now Glock.

He could pull off a Lewis Hamilton style debut and really impress alot of people, I wish him the best and I'm very happy with all the 'new blood' GP2 has brought into F1.

I agree with you on this one, GP2 has been fantastic, way better tha F3000 was. Better to watch too as a support race to F1

It also means now, every GP2 champion has made it to a race seat the very next year.

Believe me, Glock is a great driver, hes fast at everything, quali, race pace, and overtaking.
