Your a Barichello fan?

I think everyone can appreciate what he's achieved. He's something of an institution.

true, you have to love Barichello, He's like official f1 furniture :P

My thoughts exactly - the furniture bit in particular :P

What has he achieved? Huge number of competitive laps in F1? Hardly qualifies as an all time great...his win/WDC: GP ratio is just getting worse and worse as every GP passes. :yikes:

I don't think anybody is saying he's an all-time great...

It was an exaggeration. There's nothing noteworthy about what Rubens has done, he has well and truly established himself as an above average driver who deserves a ride in F1. A driver beating him still doesn't really credit the achievement.

:censored: mods, they come in elsewhere and boohoo about threads being off topic and possibly locking them but they allow each other to go off topic without a word said all over this thread...typical of anybody with a little bit of power, real or imagined, online or off.

Seriously? Sorry you feel that way, keeping the site spam free and keeping people from ripping each other's faces off during arguments and having to manage the dozens of personalities or threads all out of the volunteered goodness of our heart, and you're upset by a few infrequent off topic posts? I think it's a small price to pay, but again, I'm sorry if you feel that way and are so inconvenienced by it.

Anyway, I'd have mark webber finish all of his races clean. He'd have been 2010 WDC if he finished Valencia and Korea. Oh, and if he hadn't run into lewis hamilton in australia that'd be a few more points as well. So he just needs to keep his nose clean.

So buy him a box of kleenex and he's got the 2011 WDC in da' bag.

Yeah, just as much as you guys when you come in with your boohooing as I mentioned above. And pretty much what you just said was that it's ok for you guys to get upset by a few infrequent off topic posts but not me? Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about from you mods. Thanks for proving my point.

My understanding is there's not really anything wrong with a natural continuation that goes off topic, if users find something better to talk its cool. The problem is when its driven off topic for other reasons, you know bickering or something like a Alonso Hamilton debate which lowers the quality of the thread.

I think Hamilton can do better than Nicole. She's too old and manly looking in the face. He should get on of those girls that are in the spotlight right now. Girls like Katy Perry, Rihanna even on of the movie star types... The Harry Potter girl or the Nicole just drops his game man.

Nicole's not bad man. One thing I find annoying is her blondie type of attitude the way she jumps around like a mad rabbit in the garage. Anyway, cougar relationship is the in thing now. :D

That whole post was just nail-on-head goodness. Unless its for sinister reasons, let threads take a natural course, if someone says something slightly off-topic and it snowballs, who cares? The thread topic is always there to see, and its always there for someone to "unrail" it and post something originally off topic.

Thank you both for the lucid moment. This is the kind of posting that makes a moderators job cushy. Now why can't it be this way all of the time?

Well, how else do you plan to fill the dungeon. Anyway, if we all went around nicely saying "how dee you do" I won't be able to look myself in the mirror.
