Uh...He has a point ya know. There's no way Red Bull will stay on top indefinitely. ANd their commitment isn't an known quantity. All we know is they're here for the time being.

Uh...He has a point ya know. There's no way Red Bull will stay on top indefinitely. ANd their commitment isn't an known quantity. All we know is they're here for the time being.

I read about Christian Horner indirectly talking smack about McLaren just last week!

And anyway, I just read it again and Lewis was probably asked something like "Can Redbull sustain this lead" and his answer was they are a freakin drinks company and they don't have the history of McLaren! I'd revert my statement of thrash talk, the guy just said Ferrari is red, in another way.

Jeez, it seems a slightly lengthier quote from Lewis has already got the maggots crawling out of the woodwork, what with the billin guy and I believe this is just the start. This smells of a 100 strong thread already...let's see if it hits it before free practice starts!

You simply don't diss a rival of that caliber, the freaking double world champions at that, in this way! It's the belittling tone of it all and it's the questioning of their willingness to stay in F1. Did anybody diss the manufacturers who all left by now in this way while they were in F1? BMW? Honda? Renault even?

Okay, so drivers are not allowed to comment?? I'm really missing the logic here, when a mike is shoved up a drivers face what does he do? Carry a stapler and staple his mouth whenever asked for an interview?

And he barely even dissed the team, everything he stated was the truth. There was no exaggeration, and no assumptions...ergo it is justified. Redbull is exactly what Lewis says they are. They could be in F1 until the end of time or maybe next year. Who would've imagined BMW quitting so early? Things change mate. Credit to the three titans of F1 (Ferrari, McLaren and Williams) for lasting this many years.
