There is nothing wrong with pringles! BACK OFF! :hehe:

Personally, I love cheesy puffs and lays plain jane chips with cottage cheese. (separate things, not cheesy puffs with cottage cheese that would be  )

French-American mutt fries cant even look at the english chip for how superior it is.

Theres nothing like a big fat salty vingeray ketchupy english chip coulpled with a tasty cod and a savaloy sausage. Nothing. Except Kebabs, they are pretty nect (local "black" slang i picked up today, had to get it in a post somewhere)

Pringles started as a tennis ball manufacturer. They had the cans ready, but when the rubber was supposed to arrive, a load of potatoes showed up instead! So they just went with that.

Yeah, and originally they were a subsidy of Pirelli. But they became so successful that they split from the Italian company and after much deliberation came up with a Anglo-German name for their new enterprise.

IIRC there was a falling out over the performance of the intermediate chip. But once they knew they were going to have to come up with a grooved chip all bets were off! Having to put a green stripe on the prime chip also proved problematic.

Difference between Chips and fries, or French fries........Chips are fatter, and the best ones come from a chip shop. Fries are thinner, they come from some restaurants, McDonalds(pap) and the best ones come from France.
