I saw a pair of Wood Ducks today. Every year for the past 6 or 7 years I've been fortunate enough to have at least one pair nest in the woods overhanging the creek on my property. They are arguably one of the most beautiful birds on the planet!

I was a bit bummed out as I was about 3 weeks late in seeing them this year, it's a lovely way to start my spring.

Awesome!!! Wood Ducks were on the verge of being non-existant 20yr's ago but with all the nesting box's put up they have made a great comeback, god they are so beautiful.

Getting rid of old suite and easiest way was to cut em up. Looked like a damien hirst exhibit at one point.

Today I am doing very little; but over the weekend we took a trip away to Arkansas to stay with some friends. Visited Eureka Springs, which is a tourist town built around a spring that is supposed to have healing properties. It's a cute little town and I love the roads around there; no grid system, single lane roads with lots of elevation and corners unlike Kansas!
