I put in my request that I would gladly house a few displaced Japanese girls until their able to return, what are my chances???

Since you've already spent quite a bit of cash mail ordering their used panties... it's the least you can do to give something back.

DUDE that was suppsed too be our little secret :irked: !!!

Stored energy/power, THINK MAN THINK!

You must be about 22 to 25 years old.

Reason I say that: When's the last time you replaced your car battery? When's the last time your car battery had to power an entire city?

Electric cars are TERRIBLE. They actually use more power to recharge than gas engines do to operate. It's a gimmick at best. But you actually think that a car battery that, under CONSTANT charge EVERY TIME it's ever run that STILL has to be replaced every 4 to 6 years can somehow, miraculously, magically run an entire city while NOT being charged?

It would take a battery larger than the planet Jupiter to pull that off...JUST for Australia. And what's worse, it would take roughly 26 years to charge a battery that size up again with all of the current power plants on earth charging it.

Really...I know you mean well, but if you have no clue at all what you're talking about, best if you don't talk about it like you do have a clue.

And you're talking out of your arse frankly. Batteries are not the only way to store energy, ever thought of that? Before you go around and ridicule other people's opinions or make assumptions about a poster, maybe try to be a bit more open-minded about things.

OK, Einstein...tell me...moreover, tell the ENTIRE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY:

How DO you hold a charge with something OTHER than a battery?

Well, besides your rather puerile conduct here that earned you a warning, I'll be glad to answer your question.

Nobody is talking about holding a charge. Again, a reminder, try to be more open-minded.
We're talking about storing energy/power. Ever thought of hydrogen as a storage medium for energy? Hydrogen produced by solar power during the day is available for electric power production at night or for any other energy use such as propelling a vehicle.

I guess I misunderstand. I never said anything derogatory at all.

I guess since everyone typing has a highlighted name then anything I say that proves you wrong is considered offensive and it's removed with no explanation whatsoever so that you all can keep your high horse place on your site.

Wow. Just wow. How lame can it get? The worst word I used was the word "Uneducated" and the second was "naive".

If this message gets edited, then I guess I know I'm in a forum of children that have no clue how to debate on an educated level.

Not sure how serious you were about shooting the waste up in space - it's bound to fail and pollute the Earth's atmosphere - with plutonium being one of the most poisonous substances known, death of mankind, no doubt.

As serious as the first guy that said back in the early part of the 20th century that some day you'd be able to get hot soup in 2 minutes.

I'm not a proponent of nuclear power but it does have its place, and for some situation there is no better solution currently. Nuclear powered submarines for example, the same thing for aircraft carriers. It's storing and disposing of the spent fuel that's the problem, but that's not anything that is really that technically difficult to do.. storing it long term. The problem is the short term storage for the decade or so that the spent rods remain superheated.

Energy consumption reduction, increased efficiency, and intelligent design. We don't have to build homes in the middle of the fooking Arizona desert, but we do... We have the capability today, to build home that are near energy neutral but we don't.

We'll only do something about it, when instead of having a 300 year supply of oil, we're down to a few decades worth of the stuff. In the mean time, I'll hope for a cheaper means of alternative energy to become available hopefully in the next couple of generations.

Wait a minute, that's a page called united athiest front but they're all going on like it's some sort of devine retribution. Doesn't make any sense and shows how much they're screwed up in the head.
