Karun Chandhok joins ESPN F1 website as columnist
NEW DELHI: India's racing ace Karun Chandhok, who last year made his Formula One debut for Hispania Racing, is joining ESPNF1 website as a columnist.
"Chandhok will review each 2011 Formula One grand prix, beginning with a round-up and recap of the Australian Grand Prix on 27 March," a press release said.
Last year, Chandhok became only the second Indian, after Narain Karthikeyan, to race in Formula One.
Before being dropped mid-way by the Spanish outfit, he finished in all but two of his 10 races.
"I am delighted to be part of the ESPN team. The Formula One season this year is going to be a cracker and ESPNF1 is an ideal platform to reach out to Formula One fans across the globe. I have been very impressed with the overall content on ESPNF1 and look forward to this association," Chandhok, who failed to seal even a reserve driver's seat with any of the team for the 2011 season, said.
