I mean, if it was an Aussie saying "he made a good fist of it" and it was reported in the Philippines it would probably come out as "nagsenyas sha ng kamao" and I'm sure lots of Filipinos would scratch their heads and wonder why that was said.

Even the best translations can confuse or be misunderstood.

More mothers (teams) with beautiful daughters (cars) that vettel could be attracted to and if that happens then those at red bull will understand and won't stand in his way. That's the way I read it and maybe he's the reason vettel names his cars, vettels wee joke about his boss calling the cars his daughters.

I'm fairly familiar with the German language (after all it was my first mother tongue growing up), but I've never heard anything like that or even remotely related. But then again, Austrians are weird

Unless Vettel wants to really deal with the cutthroat mentality of Alonzo by all means go for it, but I don't see Big Red currently producing cars that blitz qualifying rounds.
