Okay, I'm quite curious now...where did Gaz get those timings? I've checked with Eurosport as well, Jenson is in 6th place not 2nd!

Gaz would have got them from www.f1today.nl which is a Dutch site, easy enough for an English speaker to navigate. It has the most up to date times

Those crash.net timings only went until 1pm, this is from autosport's live timing which is up to date:

13:31 Button takes a big leap and moves into the 1m22s

n.b. this time was done on a qualifying simulation i believe.

Now, WTF is the deal with that extra section on McLaren's nose? Are they running a new front wing? I can't see why they'd need to run load measuring equipment otherwise, unless they are experimenting with flexi materials today.

It is, it measures the loads on the front wing as it goes around the track. It's rarely used but nothing new, here's it being used on the RB6 during last season's testing:

Not really Barcelona, but Ferrari did some testing this week (Sunday at Vairano)
Some pics below. Clearly this is the exhaust and rear package they talked about at the launch rather than what they have been using for testing to date.
New front and rear wing.
Sidepods seem to have changed also, look a little smaller and more curved.

Perez goes quickest!! Although the track has gotten far, far quicker as the day has gone on it's still nice to see a Sauber quickest, as hollow as the achievement may be.
