Just wondering
Is it possible for a team just to enter 1 car at the start of a season and even do a whole season with 1 car??
Or is it that teams must have 2 cars no more no less at the start of a GP weekend.

Well, It is possible but the last time that ever happened was back in 1985 with Minardi (One of my all time favourite teams.
The driver was Pierluigi Martini. They attempted to qualify for every GP but only actually raced in the Brazilian & Portugeese GP's. You have to admire there spirit though. To last 20years in the sport and to spot good talents such as Alessandro Nannini, Andrea De Cesaris, Christian Fittipaldi, Gian-Carlo Fisichella, Jarno Trulli, Fernando Alonso (unfortunatly), Alex Yoong, Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson, Justin Wilson and Christijan Albers..........Its a good track record considering the cars werent great but it's more of an acheivement for a lower team to do well than>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> example RedBull win again.............BORING!!!!

No, it's not. Precisely two cars per event, no exceptions.

I think Sato's biggest problem if he wants back in is that Kobi seems to have cornered the Japanese market.

I think your right  .

Kobi is amazing!! Sato has no chance
The only way Sato could come back was through Lotus as that's who he is racing for in Indy Car? But Kobi would make him look like a amatuer lol!

starting to think there is no race driver in the world willing to pay big money to drive the slowest car on the F1 grid (if its fast enough to qualify to make the starting grid)

Not having there drivers lineup sorted out yet is just a joke.

Well, Jensonb, If you look it up you'll see I'm right.
It's most probably impossible now I'd agree with you there but it has happened in the past! Once!

Whether or not you could do it before is irrelevant. You can't now:tongue:

Erm... a certain Indian failure of a driver?

Here's the thing.....

HRT still haven't tested their new car. They only have 1 driver. Now, that could be forgiven if they were in their first year, trying to get to their first ever race. But HRT aren't. This is their second year & they're exactly where they were last year. Uttter failure of a team. They need to be kicked out, banned & removed from the history of Formula 1.

Had the situation in Bahrain not happened, the Bahrain Grand Prix would have been completed by now. HRT SHOULD have been ready weeks ago. They should be sending their gear to Bahrain. In fact they would have completed the final test by now & would be waiting in Bahrain ready for the first race in a weeks time. But because the Bahrain GP is cancelled, they seem to think that gives them the opportunity to do feck all with their time!

Waste of space, should be kicked out for being so crap. If I was as bad at what I do as them, I'd be fired.

Now while I sideline myself from the comlpete P!$@ taking on poor HRT  I still have to ask do we have a second driver? Because I am writing my application as we speak lol!!

They are the main contenders, and still good friends, so, it's going to be tough... I think that Liuzzi has more chance...
