So, this season as well we don't have a number 13 on the grid... Years ago, my favorite driver back in the day, Jos Verstappen had this number... Later, I don't remember anyone using it... Or, do you remember someone did?

As far as I'm aware, Verstappen never raced a car with the number 13 on it and a car with that number has only ever featured in one Formula One race. :confused:

The #13 is considered bad luck. Next time your in an elevator you will see that there is no 13th floor.

In western countries that's fairly common - also in some hotel chains. China and other Asian places they don't skip that number.

Airlines also don't have a 13th row.

Many years ago I used to install car phone into black livery cars in NYC, a lot of the drivers were Chinese and they'd tip me well in order for me to assign them cell numbers with lots of 8s in them. Even more of a juicy tip if they had no 3s in them. :wink:

It's odd really because my street has no number 13 in and the houses are onlt about 15 years old. It's weird that with time we haven't dropped all this superstitious behaviour.
