Yes, but if MS is this good in his first test, can you imagine how great he'd be after a few more miles under his butt? In a non-TC car? Looks almost like he recharged his batteries and could be phenomenal for another season if only he'd be motivated enough to do it, but he's not :(

I'm still not giving up hope that he might comeback for one more year but I doubt it will happen  .

He's teasing us, of course he's coming back. Racing drivers don't just switch off, Schumi is just taking a break.

He's making sure he's keeping in touch with technology so when he does decide to come back he's still got it...

Probably just waiting for someone else to become a superstar so he can knock him off his pedestal.

you never know ms for the free mclaren seat ;) lol.

de la rosa is quite impressive and the cars are looking much closer at the top end, renault bmw etc all within ferrari and mclaren times

ah, but if de la Rosa is more than a second ahead of the nearest non-McLaren/Ferrari over one lap, imagine that with Lewis at the wheel and over 50 plus laps. but i agree with you that there are lots of good signs about next season, and the new regulations are bound to make a difference.

I'm praying Schumacher just leaves F1 be. 7 championships ffs, he's had his glory days. It would be really unfortunate if he just clung on and lowered his reputation by underperforming.

That Force India car looks alright in its new livery, mind you this is probably an interim livery.

By the time's posted above I think it is safe to say he still has what it take's. I dont think he will return but I would love to see it.

Your right it doesn't and it's because we are praising a Ferrari driver and not a McLaren driver  .

hm, it's just my opinion but i couldn't see him winning another WDC, the grid has more drivers capable of really competing than when he was around. Alonso beat him twice in two seasons in an inferior car, and now Alonso comes 3rd in the championship the year after in a better car? I'm not disputing Schumacher's greatness. He was one of the best. but his time has been and gone, new drivers are coming in, and a return to F1 would do nothing for him. This is all written under the very unlikely assumption that he will come back :D

Also, i wish Force India had kept the kickass orange of the Spyker cars. Was the only good thing about the whole team, apart from Sutil

I thought that would be PDR, seems he is first!

Ron mate , it's time to start listening to the man. The only reason Schuey is even thinking about coming back is because Fernando "The Greatest" Alonso won't be in a competitive seat next year.Forget Hamiilton, Raikkonen, PDR , Massa. Why not give F1 fans what we really want?A head to head joust with the most successful driver ever to get behind the wheel of an F1 car against the only guy who could beat him(twice).Alonso vs Schumacher again would be just mouthwatering, You never know Michael might actually win one this time.Personally , I am (or was) an avid McLaren man but the thought of the guy we Brits love to hate returning would be great for the sport all round.Bring it on I say

Couple of flaws in what you say Sparky Mark

1/ Alonso was beaten by his rookie team mate last season in the same equipment (don’t go Spanish on me now!) – so he can hardly be classed as the greatest ever.

2/ If Schumacher really did retire because Alonso went to a top team and he did not want to race him – then he is the biggest coward in the history of motor racing – which he is, because he retired rather than take on Kimi Raikkonen in equal equipment.

3/ It is never goingt o happen (a return of the Schu (or Shoe, as he is a real heal deal!))
