The team orders you refer to from Ferrari to Massa in Germany were fully justified. Its a team sport and it has always been used in F1 as well as in other motorsports, especially in WRC. But clearly you do not agree, (unless McLaren were to do it as on many ocaasions you have demonstrated double standards), but please enlighten me on your reason as to why it is cheating when Ferrari does it. Oh and I don't want to hear it alters the race result spig marol (sorry if I write that wrong as English not my first language). All motorsports are a team sport and no driver is greater than the team (as Enzo himself has pointed out many times). Alonso and Massa both do as they are told and if the occasion were to ever arise, Alonso will move over for Massa otherwise he can share the same fate he had when he was at McLaren.

I said IF teammates are racing. They were racing in Malaysia... they were not racing in Germany anymore. The reasons are obvious so i wont bother with them.

No doubt the move in Malaysia threw the team into action as im sure at the time the pit crew had Massa's tyres ready waiting to go. Massa would not have been expecting such a move by his team mate in that situation. His move was rash and ruthless and as WB said unsporting.
Alonso has and always will care about himself, never the team he is in. That is why i do not like him.

....... hmmm neither was Alonso expecting Lewis' move in the situation pertaining this thread. since when is the driver's expectations been what guides the teams for racing?? the teams have very clear expectations and that's getting the best results in both the championships. the drivers know this, regardless of which other expectation the dirvers have.

as i remember, EVERY passing move made by Kobayashi in the Suzuka race was rash and ruthless. Nobody complained.

Unsporting

i dont know about this... in such case all moves in the pit lane were unporsting. And there were way too many. I dont specially enjoy racing in the pit lanes... its dangerous and uncalled for... but if everyone does it... then everyone does it. Can't be happy when some do it and compliment their "racing spirit" then label as unsportsmen the others.

Alonso will always care about himslef and not the team he's in

Its not for us to know, or to like. Its up to the teams. Just like certain teams let their drivers race rallies, other teams let their drivers go for it, other tems swap driver parts, others ask drivers for sponsors... and others change drivers mid season. Don't see anyone telling the other teams what to do with their drivers.

I can't recall anything about Malaysia....only Alonso trying to keep up with his teammate in a faulty car. Are we talking about China here?

Anyway, I'm sure the team and everyone else saw that 'barge' as a very selfish move. It couldn't be more obvious, but that's Alonso's character through and through. It's what makes him very efficient on track...though off track he'll always be looked at as a major d**k. This is a factor which teams would want to take into account before hiring him, everyone wants a fast driver who is also a team player (Schumi needed to play 2nd fiddle to Irvine at one point too). If anything happens within Ferrari, ALonso might find himself out in the cold as McLaren don't want him...ever. Redbull are revolving around Babyboy Vettel..and Renault are doing the same with Kubica. There are others out there just as good.

Yeah...there was no pit barging there, his engine wouldn't have allowed it anyway.

On a different tack, all this negative press from what must be some of Fernando's favourite media outlets (the Sun etc) will certainly not go unnoticed by him. I recall the intensity and aggression directed to Nando last year by some press immediately after Germany. My observation on that was it not once seemed to phase him in the least. What's more, his performance after those attacks was simply outstanding. He landed on the podium for all but Spa and AD and won 3 more races.

I hope it has the same effect on him for the start of this year
