The legality, is just a technical matter, its the morality thats the important bit.

You want too bake your biscuit and eat it too? As stated NO TRUTH has been or will most likely be revealed, are you in in that 99%? You speak of moral but do you knw the TRUTH???

True, but it seems even the yet "untruthful'' sh** seems to be heading Alonsos way! And his involvements in the past and the future of (07) dont help his cause either! even to a neutral bystander Alonso smells of guilt!

I get the impression Vap may have been referring to the events of that weekend as a whole rather than this specific incident...

How about we let Vap respond  ?

That was implied

It's a disgrace what he said even with what you removed!

Maybe so, but this new information coming in about Alonzo just further puts him on my **** list. I feel sorry for massa, even if he gets the awesome performance levels needed it won't matter, he's #2.

Massa deserves no sympathy. He's a big boy now, if he doesn't want to be Alonso's water-carrier, he shouldn't have signed the deal and he shouldn't have willingly and knowingly conspired with the team to break the rules to favour Alonso's Championship challenge - and then lied about it.

I posted something like this before, but, I think it bears saying again. I'm so looking forward to Felipe winning and Ferrari not ordering him to move over and let Alonso past. I doubt many will come out and apologise or admit they were wrong - but it will still be very satisfying for me.

Id love Felipe to beat Alonso. Let Ferrari taste the full force of Alonso's ruthlessness(that was my polite word). But whats to apologise for? Its happenned in the past, it not hppenning in the future won't right that wrong.

Unfortunately the book does not go far enough in to the details because many of the details are not common knowledge. There where many instances of where Alonso tried to influence what was happening the other side of the garage, he is rumoured to have offered financial rewards to Lewis's mechanics to scupper Lewis's car in whatever way possible..

In race team de-briefs at the McLaren Technology Centre Lewis would always be cheered by the staff, Alonso did not get the same level of appreciation, he visibly did not like that.

There where also rumours around McLaren that Alonso constantly complained about Lewis being too fast and that it was ruining Alonso's reputation as the double world champ.

Personally I liked to watch them race against each other in the same equipment, lets remember, it was Lewis's first year in F1 and he nearly won, he certainly beat Alonso and took the shine out of his aura!

The most unsporting event observable that occurred at Ferrari last year was Massa being bumped by Alonso on the pit lane entrance. So I'm in agreement, I'd love to see a competitive Massa give something back. I fear through that Massa has half a season's grace period before Ferrari give up and replace him. I don't think they'll tolerate another full season of his performance last year.

Why? there were MANY pit lane overtakes last year...

If they're going to be racing... then let them race. If they are going to be cutthroat, then let them scratch each other all around. If Massa cant get around his tire heat issues, and Alonso found a way to get it done... then s***-out-of-luck for Massa and viceversa. The same with the Monza situation at Mclaren, Jenson found his set up. If they are racing... why should he be teaching Lewis how to go about his business??

They are either both racing all out, or they aren't. That's the way i see it.

over team mates during a safety car period? That move set the tone for the whole season.

Alonso shouldn't of had to pull that on Massa in the pits. No instead Domenicali should of told Massa to get the f :censored: out of Alonso's way once they were out on the track. Alosno almost won it for Ferrari, should of won it, had Donenicali made Alonso number 1 from the word go.

I'm not disputing the racing, I agree with you there, Massa struggled massively but I used the word unsporting for a reason. in pit entrance, at that point, it was intimidation, and in my opinion it was unsporting... it was Alonso stomping/stamping his number 1 status for the team. I think it set the tone for the remainder of the year.

And you know what Kiki... I agree with you here. Coming from the team, it would have made more sense... coming from Alonso, I saw that move as nothing but unsporting.

Lots of overtaking during safety car periods last yr. and in the pit lane.
Not all on teammates, but if teammates are racing, then there should be no difference.

In what way is intimidation unsporting?? it happens all the time in all sports!
It may not have been a pleasant sight to watch because of the risk involved... but that's about it. Had Massa been the one to do it, it would have actually been applauded on, for 'standing up to his rival'......

Just like in Germany when team mates were racing it should be no difference?
