It's a disgrace what he said even with what you removed!

Maybe so, but this new information coming in about Alonzo just further puts him on my **** list.

We do not know if this is fiction or non-fiction and that is all that matters right??? Hey I'm no Alonso lover but I hate to see a driver being accused of something that is not factual but mere specualtion from a published book/rag. Nobody seems to want too wait for the truth (I doubt we will ever know the truth either), no wonder the STAR rag is so popular as the public will fall for anything simply because it is in print thus it must be true.

As per Hungary what Lewis did was not illegal,he did not obey team orders!

What Alonso did in the pits WAS ILLEGAL,blocking another competitor on pitlane, after the lollipop was raised, thus HE was punished, and McLaren not allowed to earn any WCC points that race!

Big difference boys-n-girls

Still both immoral and unsporting though!

Team orders were not allowed then either where they?

I had a huge problem with those tactics aswell, very unsporting too say the least  .

Yet in hindsight ie forum experience I can see where this thread is going ie 'fishing trip'. One side is not more right than the other simply because we are outsiders and will never know the truth, should mere speculation of the events turn us against one another??

Is there no anti slander rules where this book is made?

Cannot say but slander is slander regardless if it is a book or a commercial rag, you now have a new project so 'git er done'! :D

Breaking FIA rules results in FIA punishments which resulted in no WCC points which at the end could be a difference of millions$$$$$$ and it's :wavey: ILLEGAL :wavey:

Lewis didnt break any rules,he didnt follow team orders, which Tex pointed out were illegal as well,so he was being a Law Abiding Citizen!
I dont see how the 2 are equal

Heh, there was me thinking this was gonna be about the time Alonso spiked him with laxatives before his first date with Nicole.

We are only getting oneside of a journo's story (ie interpretation) so my point is how do we know any of this holds water? I'm not defending FA in any way but it's always the same old story because when such irrelevant (as this topic is imho) implications regarding the honor of Lewis or the McLaren team 99% of their 100% diehard fans have already made their minds as to who is right. Oh and before you start I have always supported McLaren (longer than most of you have been on this earth  ) so don't even try taking a shat on me for my opinion, you get yours and I get mine.

In all actuality not one damn forum member here will ever actually KNOW the 100% real truth yet most post as if they do  ?!?!?! What I'm trying to say is don't talk/post as if you know the truth just leave alittle room for interpretation from others who are just as bewildered as you  .

My interpretation of this nonsense and if you disagree thats ok but keep it civil please or just pm me :) .

Trying reading my post properly before you make a condescending reply next time!:nono: I never commented on the legality of either situation, just that both drivers' actions were unsporting at the very least that weekend. I can't see how that is deniable.

 My point all along too. Not to mention the fact that this author has a history of being sued for libel.

The legality, is just a technical matter, its the morality thats the important bit.

You want too bake your biscuit and eat it too? As stated NO TRUTH has been or will most likely be revealed, are you in in that 99%? You speak of moral but do you knw the TRUTH???

I get the impression Vap may have been referring to the events of that weekend as a whole rather than this specific incident...
