Jeez, based on that i think were gonna have 4 stoppers are some circuits.

Turkey, Canada?

If Jenson could walk this season if he can make a 3 stopper a 2 stopper.

its like giving him 30 seconds.

This is one thing I like about the rapidly deteriorating tyres - it will show once and for all that Jenson is a master at 'conserving' tyres = MYTH.

He's just slow...and 2011 will prove it.

"Slow", huh? Multiple race victories, dozens of Podiums, numerous Pole positions, a World Championship - no less, won before the final round...You can do that even if you're slow, eh?

Well in that case I might stop watching the sport, what sort of sport allows even the untalented ones to be huge successes? :hehe:

I understand we clash quite often Jensonb....but I have my opinion of Jenson and how he got his "WDC". It will no doubt not go well with you, and I respect our differences. Let's just keep it that way and remain good friends. :wavey:

He has some great excuses as well.

Im pretty sure Jenson won two races before Lewis got one?

What does this prove anyway? They both got 2 in the end and Lewis beat him in the standings comfortably with more misfortunes.

I could say Massa got into Ferrari before Alonso managed to...does this make Massa a better driver? LOL

Just as we thought of McLaren:

Car's potential may not be realised for first race - Button

Jenson Button is not sure the full potential of the McLaren MP4-26 will be unlocked for the start of the season in Australia.

McLaren has not completed as many laps of testing as its rivals in pre-season testing so far, after opting to launch its car after the first test in Valencia. The MP4-26 has had a few reliability issues since then and its pace relative to Ferrari and Red Bull has been hard to determine.

"I have definitely not completed the laps that I expected to and when it comes to developing a new car it is essential to do a lot of kilometres," Button told Autosprint. "This car has a lot of potential, but if the development work is late, there may be a gap in the first races of the championship."

Button said a lot would depend on the final test at Barcelona next week, where all the teams will have their last chance to refine their packages on track before the first race in Australia on March 27.

"It will be an important test for putting everything together, but I think it will be very difficult to get an exact idea of the hierarchy," he said. "I've heard rumours that the Red Bull is six tenths faster than Ferrari, and also that Ferrari are one second faster than everyone on race pace! I think that to get an overall picture we will have to wait until the first race."

Well these guys better "unlock" whatever potential there is, FAST. Because they are in to lose a hell of a lot of points with many contenders like Merc, Williams, and Renault in the mix!!

5 more days of testing...

08:37 McLaren is preparing airguns, looks like pitstop practice is planned.
08:37 Mechanics now rushing out.
08:37 That's thorough - they're even practicing the rushing.

:rofl::thumbup:

Webber in front today so far. Ferrari, Mercedes, Williams and HRT only start testing tomorrow.

Where did you get these timings?

I'm seeing this on a website:

Driver Car Time Laps
1. Mark Webber Red Bull RB7 1:22.544 38
2. Nick Heidfeld Renault 1:24.735 20
3. Davide Valsecchi Lotus 1:25.406 50
4. Sergio Perez Sauber C30 1:25.443 54
5. Nico Hülkenberg Force India VJM04 1:26.030 31
6. Jenson Button McLaren MP4-26 1:28.971 44
7. Jerome d'Ambrosio Virgin MVR-02 1:33.502 20
8. Sebastien Buemi Toro Rosso STR6 No time 3

The website specifically saying no one came close to Webber and he's comfortably 2 seconds faster than the nearest rival, Nick Heidfeld?? Why is Button 2nd in your list? Missing something here.
