Since I'm from america I'm not partial to anyone, I only started watching after I became familar with the drivers via Top Gear. I do say I think Jenson and Lewis are cool people which did draw me in, but as far as teams, I don't really care, thought I do seem to have a vulgar hatred for Alonzo.

Careful, mr forum sheriff up there might not understand how you can hate anybody you don't personally know and call you immature :hehe:

Anyway, I personally root for drivers instead of teams. I'm american so my country doesn't have drivers or teams so I just root for drivers. My favorite is Webber and I'd like to see Rosberg kick Schumi's rear end all over the track again this year.

Team first, second and third :-)

Happy to be Tifosi and I love being part of something that unique.

Country doesn't enter into it for me.

Appreciate every driver on the grid for getting out there and racing. Some say and do silly things sometimes, but, guess what, so have I. Prefer a driver that shows they're human to a PR-bot.

surely being Italian decent plays into it, Ferrari are all about italy. Infact they are tthe main team that uses nationality in their livery, marketing and promotional work aside from the minnows of force india and hispania

Sure mate, for me being of Italian decent has a big bearing on me being a Tifoso. And this year is important for Italians as we all know being 150 years for us, so I love the F150 :D

I'd also admit that the Italian heritage has a lot to do with why I'd simply love to see Daniel Ricciardo in a Ferrari one day. He, like me is a West Australian or Italian heritage. I was wrapped to read his answer to the question asked of him in his recent Autosport live chat session - that he too dreams about driving for Ferrari. (very smart guy to ask that question :-) )

But Ferrari is a much broader than Italy. There are lots of other reasons to support the prancing horse.

Guys, I think the world you're looking for is "descent". Decent is something else entirely.

From my perspective, most people (regardless of nationality) will gravitate to teams that demostrate success. Anywhere I travel here in Asia people support Manchester United/ Liverpool/Chelsea because they are the high profile "winning" teams.

....it's generally the same with F1. Just because I support Mark Webber doesn't make me a gushing Red Bull fan. Hell, when my all-time favourite driver (Ayrton himself) was around....I loved McLaren and I still have a soft spot for them.

However, when success turns a team into a bunch of w**kers (aka Chelsea)....they will always lose support, and frankly no-one could argue with the fact that most of us love to see the "underdog" get up. McLaren and Ferrari will always be a victim of it's own success in terms of public support.

To both of you, Chelsea is good.

The third option you're referring to is? Lewis?

I think many people supporting Jenson because he's Brit won't support Lewis for the same reason. :hehe:

I have met Jenson and he's down to earth, cool? He has a style about him that makes me like him. He's not an idiot? He's straight down to earth and gets the job done. I have always liked him and to be honest I have not really took to many drivers in F1. I think Ferrari have good drivers but are not to my personal taste....Alonso is pure brilliant | PROFESSIONALLY| but personally a tit?

Lewis is just a show man to me, People will disagree but, he has had it easier than JB? Lewis waited a few races for his win, JB waited years? Lewis waited a year for his WDC JB waited Year[*S*] To me JB has worked his way up.

True, and its something that will always be held against Lewis, but seriously, how can you decide, or even factor it into your reasoning that Mclaren decided to sponsor someone at 13 years old, how on earth should that be classed as Lewis' fault.

What on earth is a show man?

true and a very fair point indeedy my freind, I guess to me it's just the personal fact that I just Love JB, his personallity is brilliant? He's ambitious and I love his style. His driving style is uber and he's down to earth, allot of F1 drivers believe they are rock stars? I believe JB is relaxed and keeps it real. People walk up to him in the streets of Guernsey and chat to him...I'm off to Guernsey :hehe:

Chelsea are ace, despite out loss to Everton

Oh that, yes and I thought Chelsea had won because of 1-1 at Everton and 0-0 after 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Then I realised it was a "replay" so no away goal rule actually counted and oh nooooooo. So in extra time I again I thought Chelsea had it after Lampard's goal and then when Baines scored.........well you know what happened after that. :(
