This post is ludacris....The season is going to be "Phenominal" heres a few VB reasons why.

1)More cars are topping the time sheets
2)Mercedes Look more competitive
3)New drivers who look like they know what there doing
4)Di Resta? a Brit with a chance
5)Lewis is going to be more competitive then ever...mark my word

They are random, but good points for why 2011 will be amazing. 2010 started off like the feeling of a funeral...but after a few races? we was in motion like a roller coaster...There will be better teams this season...Don't jump the gun.

If your a hardcore fan like the 97% of people on here are you will know F1 is the most un predictable sport in the world. Alonso was for sure to win the 2010 WDC did he...NO.

Chess Mate.

I disagree vehemently with every single one of your numbered statements.

1) Any team can top in testing
2)Mercedes look twice as uncompetitive as they did in 2010
3) The new drivers look like their big wallets are gonna bite them hard
4) A chance at what? Points perhaps, but then that makes him no different to Sutil and Liuzzi
5) Lewis being more competetive then ever? Considering he won in 2008 i read into that you expect his second title this year, and im telling you by the looks of the Mclaren this year hell be fighting only for podiums.

As for the part in bold, i predicted HRT would be crap, Lotus best of new teams, Red Bull best car, Alonso to beat Masas, Hamilton to beat Button.

So is it that unpredictable or am i nostradamus?

Almost, haha!

You are right, but, there are still unpredictable things: car problems, accidents (in and out of F1), adjusting to car and it's ballance...

You can never know, but, you know it's always going to be interessting...

I'm kinda split on this really, i mean i'm worried one team will dominate, but then they did last season really... i am reassured by the idea that the racing itself has serious potential to be more entertaining though, even if perhaps the title fight won't be. A bit like in 2005.

No, this is the thing? Your all thinking into this season too much. For crying otu loud we have 26 days I believe? Anythign could happen. vettel could get pole every race and his car fail...an unlikely situation but you never know? I thought Alonso was definatley going to win the title and Vettel might come second? i never even thought the stratergie would muck us up...but it did...So just wait and see my fellow f1 freinds.

I feel your being a bit idealist. There is a lot that is predicatable in F1, even the unpredicatable is predicatable like knowing there will be mechanical failures.

Im sure itll be a great season like they almost always are, but that isnt the concern. Or is it? infact i forgot what i put in the OP......

I wish I shared your optimism. Presently, it's reminding me more and more of the 4-18...which turned out to be so bad it never raced.

MP4-18?? That car blew up every track it hit in testing...

This is probably a reliable MP4-18...it could be a GREAT contender.....for POINTS! :cloud9:

So you could predict that Alonso would lose the title? Then you would of won a 20/1 bet....My misses was going to put the bet on but I told her it would be a waste of a fiver...Don't be so silly...F1 is the most unpredictable sport in the world I believe, It's not like WWE were we work of a script? P-Lease...Let's get real for a minute.

totally depends on the level of prediction, you think, rightly so i guess that predicting events like webber vettel in turkey is unpredictable, nobody could see that coming, but the predicting the driver to win, which im sure many said Vettel. That isnt hard to predict. Sure it looked like Alonso would win in Abu Dhabi, but nobody was convinved of it 100 percent because it wasnt certain.
And your only example is of the last race. I was predicting Vettel would win long before. BTW i dont and never have watched it but just because WWE goes by a script doesnt mean its predictable.

F1 is not coronation street, Okay lets go back to when Mika Hakkinen leading and on the last lap he broke down....Predictable...or when Kimi raikkonen was leading the race but his tyre deflatted....Not predictable...i think back in the 2000's? Predictable as if what you would have for your sunday dinner...Chicken....Ferrari win....McLaren maybe? But now it's different....So as the gentlemen above said, make some predictions and we will hold you to them?
