The only year i have a gripe about it 1990....

Reading up on the history of 1989 and 1990, both were decided in a very odd set of circumstances. 1990 was very devious, but 89, senna came back to win the race and was DQ'd, to me, that doesn't seem like a very deserving win either for Prost.

Very true, and don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to degrade the accomplishments of Prost, mearly question the race in which it was attained. Going through information about Prost and footage of the way he raced, he seemed to be on the cool and collective side of racing, very thought out. It would lead me to ask, why would he allow himself to be put in that position given the track record of Senna and his insane driving style. Senna's "you choose your fate" way passing and defending isn't something that started in 1989 that I could tell, given this knowledge why would you risk it?

I did find it ironic that the hearing for Senna's DQ was held in paris .

basically if they were tied for Points I wonder just how much Prost would have fought for that position.

Aside from this, He retired in 1994 and Senna Died in 1994, so I don't know if its exactly as simple as Senna 3 Prost 4. One could say in Ten years Senna got 3 wdc where in ten years for prost he also got three. So they would be equal.

Prost is often regarded in the same way Schumi is, that he is the typical anti-hero, talented. But a right basta-rd. Its held in Paris cause the FIA is a French organisation. If Prost wasnt such a rival to Senna, hed be on the lips of twice as many F1 fans when they talk about the best ever, hes a 4 times world champion for christs sake and he almost won it 4 others!

As for your last part, one could say if Senna wasnt such a cheating little devil Prost wouldnt mind being partnered with him in 1994, thats why he left, and if we want to be really controversial, if Prost stayed with Senna in 1994, we could all be hailing Prost as the greatest ever as he hit tamburello at 150 mph. Im sure as hell Senna would be saying he was the greatest ever if that happened.
