I hope bud's going to the Aussie GP, then he could do McLaren a favour and throw some pebbles at the quicker Redbulls and Ferraris and Renaults.....:hehe:

South Africa I understand, but I thought USA already has 2 or 3 tracks capable of hosting F1 and France has a great track which got scrapped after being a feature for many years because....I can't remember why.

It was in the a**-end of nowhere without good transport links.

It now has much better transport links, so quite why we're not going to France this year is beyond me.

Because France doesnt have anywhere near enough oil to sell for the cash needed to donate to Bernies"retirement fund". Hopefully Bahrain never comes back..... they should get rid of Abu Dahbi while their at it,another pointless race in a nowhere country with no F1 fans, the one distinguishing feature of the track-it has a drive-thru hotel on it...........WOW!! That makes for good racing!!!

Ah now I see your post was more about the fiasco in Bahrain rather than about the tracks Capt. Furious posted  .

Oil buys tracks... We dislike these races... We don't have THE black gold... We can only protest about it...

Well except China, they can just hold us to ransom because since they're State Socialists (Erroneously considered communists) and therefore the global capitalist system is biased in their favour and we're all screwed*

*I'm not even exaggerating, they literally have us by the b**ls and there's nothing we can do about it short of blowing their government to a million pieces and making them adopt free market republican ideals. Oil barons bribing their way into F1 is, by far, the least of our worries.

I read somewhere that the crown prince whats his face
Pays Bernie £40 m to host the season opener

Good. Furthermore, he makes no profit so its even worse since that just means its a; loose-loose situation where he looses money and fans fall asleep.

The only good thing we can take from this is the benefit it has on Bahrain - We better see a Bahrainian WDC in the next 10 years...

Theres nothing short of blowing their goverment to a million pieces? I think the United Kingdom would be a desolate nuclear wasteland from John o Groats to Lands End before we could do anything about China, itd probably take China a day to take over half of Asia!
