Hello. I'm SuperAguriUK.
I'm new to this site but not new to F1 topics as I'm a massive fan. :)

Now, as we all know, Narain Karthikeyan is back in action after 4-5years out of action from F1 which i Think is good for the sport. He was always a good driver and was always determined to do 100%.
But we are all kept guessing who will partner him this year.
Vitantonio Liuzzi tested for HRT (19-02-11) which would be a boost to HRT's technical side of things...... there is Also testing rebound Giorgio Mondini who has tested for various amount of teams over the year (Minardi 2004, Jordan 2005, and Midland 2006 where he also got one friday session).
Although last year for the Abu Dhabi Test HRT tested out young talents of Josef Kral and Davide Valsecchi so they may be a suprise 2nd driver (but unlikely).........So.........................

Whats your verdict? Is there anyone else? What do you think?

Wait, HRT have only announced one driver? Wow, they're so unobtrusive I hadn't even noticed.

At a guess, Klien or Yamamoto will get the nod - however briefly - assuming the team doesn't collapse.

Ahhh yes. I forgot about Sakon Yamamoto and Chritian Klien.

Sakon Yamamoto I know will definitly not get the drive. He's a talentless driver. I've always seen him as a useless driver from the moment he replaced Frank Montagny at the German Grand Prix for Super Aguri in 2006.

Chritian Klien on the other hand is a fast racer and a talented one at that but unfortunatly I havent heard any news on Klien.
Who knows. Anyone else have any guesses?

I keep failing to see how some driver from India is "good" for F1. It's bull. Nobody is "good" for F1 if they have to buy their way in. They thought the same thing about Americans. "Hey! If we get an American on the grid, it'll be good for F1".

Really?

The powers that be think we're all idiots. I didn't want an American in F1 that really didn't deserve to be there and was driving a car that couldn't get out of it's own damn way. What good is that? Watching him get blistered every race was "good" for F1?

I mean really...watching Karthikeyan limp around the track in a boat he has to row through the corners with the shifter paddles gets Indians on their feet and makes the country of India want to just hurl a couple of billion dollars F1's way? Are they that sick in India?

No. They're not. It's all a bunch of bull.

F1 has become all about money and next to nothing about real talent. Real talent being required to drive in F1 went out the door years ago. And no...it is NOT good for F1.

Well I think Luizzi, He has the dosh. Now HRT need that dosh...Plus in the 2011 livery reveal they had a rather Lush looking white car. Refreshing in my eyes...Now its black again....What's going on there then

I agree with you but i dont think the poster was trying to say that it is good in that sense. I think he was trying to say it is good for F1 that Karthekayan has not faded out and is returning to F1.

I think this team will be an embarassment for this season... They've had no tests, still they have no second driver, that's just ridiculous...

I would like to see them suprise me, but, let's face it, reality is much tougher than that...

It's gotta be Luizzi.

I have no faith in HRT ever becoming something in F1. They just don't have the money to be anything other than a team at the back of the grid making up the numbers.

At least we know Virgin with Richard Branson can throw some extra cash at his team and with Lotus Racing that Tony Fernandes can also through big cash if needed into the project if it starts to fall behind expectations.

But HRT have no one, they are worthless currently. They are employing drivers who have cash in order to survive. Hopefully someone big steps in and buys the team soon.

Minardi made a career out of it!

Minardi is cool. HRT is not. :hehe:

HRT need a strategy, either they openly seek someone to buy them (assuming thats legal), or they aim to recruit up and coming drivers, who aren't just able to pay up now, but might make big moves in the future.

Kinda like Sauber has done with Sergio Perez and also tied that deal nicely with Ferrari engines.
