SV might be playing the both of them, Ferrari and RB with the goal of 1) ensuring that RB keeps on giving him the best car and no. 1 status, 2) making sure that RB pays him whatever he commands, 3) keeping his name in Ferrari's meeting room at the expense of any other potential rival, and 4) advertising that he'd be ready if/when the situation changes at Ferrari. This last one could be happening sooner than we think (remember KR?) and if it does while SV is still under contract (but is expressing his willingness to switch), Ferrari will be more than willing to throw a boat load of cash at him and RB; less so if his contract is about to expire anyway and he's actively looking for a seat (it's called wage dumping). I seriously doubt SV would worry about who his team mate is or isn't - this boy has tons of self-confidence and his ego is not as easily bruised as that of, e.g., FA.
Just my two cents.

There were some rumours floating around last year, that Seb has already signed a "heads of agreement" (a kind of pre-contract) with Ferrari which starts when he finishes with RB. His RB contract ends in one or two years depending on where he finishes - there's an out clause.

im surprised that was allowed to be published, considering it was a red bull owned magazine, but that might not be accurate anyway,

But you know if he didnt say lewis was the fastest he'd be condeming himself to a more lowly place

Yup, specially considering how they finished last yr.

Well Alonso did kindov throw away a championship last year, what with all his early errors and still not making it with a gifted race and favouritised position , so you have a point. But I was thinking more of when they had the same equipment and lewis was considerably less experienced.

You're living in dreamland FRAFF. I dont know what's got your panties in a knot over me all of a sudden, but it really is quite sad to see your sudden obsession over me.

If this is going to carry on into the 2011 season, it will be a bit of a shame since we are supporting the same side. :D

im not going to go out of my way to be chummy just cause you support Hamilton, and dont flatrer yourself i said something to you causr i didnt think you were right to dismiss nish, im more theb willing to forget it especially considering our common agenda, but if your gonna act foolishaboutit.......

I have every right to dismiss him when he was just churning up the oldest and dead-est horse (who's the best, how do you measure the best) argument. Because I had other priorities at the time.

Maybe after I'm retired in 20 years time and bored and lonely at home I'll give a call to him and talk to him about it. I don't see how any of this would affect you in any way since you weren't even involved!

You are the one that backed up WB's statement, how can you expect someone not to disagree?
there's no question that Alonso and Hamilton are the two best drivers on the grid.

If someone makes this sort of statement, one that infers that it is more of a fact than opinion (hence the "there's no question") am i wrong in asking for evidence?

If we followed your 'dont bring it up because its a dead horse argument' then this statement would be completely false in the first place.

And now go ahead and give your escuse about how your life is so busy and you have better things to do than reply when in reality you just cant use logic or reasoning in a decent enough manner to convince someone that you are right.

Nish..

Concentrate. Okay? FOCUS.

I backed up WB in regards to his suggestion for me to "READ THE ARTICLE BACKWARDS".

I didn't even read his post prior to that, and I just did for the first time to see what the hell you were bleating about. My post with his quote was to reinforce his point, not mine. I never stated that WB was correct.

Please go back to the 1st page since you love this argument so much you can't let go, and please UNDERSTAND where I'm coming from. Alright? These idiotic claims which are completely false are setting of the red switches in my head one by one.

I'd like to let this go as we're really screwing up this thread, do you still persist to do more damage?

If you're lonely, send me PMs. I will reply when I have the time.

It is ok. I know when someone is desperate not to be proven wrong when they themselves know they are wrong. They do what you are doing now, they claim they meant differently than what the other person has interpreted. I will let it rest. Lonely? At least im not a loser that needs to make personal insults to make myself feel better.

Really? when the team makes a call that loses the race, its a Hamilton misfortune, when Alonso loses the championship for a team call, its kindov throwing away a championship. By the way... there was no hope in that championship, the only ones who could throw it away were Red Bull.

Make a set of rules, then stick to it... then comparisons can be made ;)

But I was thinking more of when they had the same equipment and lewis was considerably less experienced.

You're still dreaming of that?? that was long ago... Water under the bridge.
I say, assess Hamilton on HIS OWN achievements. You'll see there's a lot less to talk about, and pretty much will all go back to the same season :)

hey it's F1 where the unimaginable happens.

How is Vettel in a Ferrari unimaginable??

You misunderstood my meaning.

Ah... you meant Massa out of Ferrari was the unimaginable :hehe:
Got it now ;)

Why on earth should Hamilton beating, albeit "only" in countback Alonso in the same car in his rookie year against the reigning champion fresh off the back of two wdc's be labelled a "dream" and "a long time ago...water under the bridge". This is why the constant circle of it all will never stop, because despite the times Alonso has beaten Hamilton SOMETIMES, SOME just cannot bear to admit Alonso was ousted. 2008/9 shouldnt even count cause Alonsos car wasnt even comparable to Hamiltons, so really its 1-1 not 3-1, given Alonso beat Hamilton fair and square in 2010. 2007 counts just as much as 2010, if not more, because the same friggin car is the best way of comparing which driver is better( unless you dont think finishing above at the end of the year is the criteria for better  )

I do agree with you on the Hamiltons team misfortune, Alonsos team, Alonsos fault bit, dont think RC got that bit right. But still.

This only got going cause RC made quite a clear joke about Hamilton being faster said all in jest, and you made a sarcy response.
