Alonso's started his mind games early, he's even said Kubica is the best driver on the grid.

Or maybe its a genuine change (or reversion) of attitude, and he's decided (or Ferrari have told him) to not worry about "being the best"/ reputation etc, just focus on driving. If thats true, his mentality should be a lot stronger, and he'll feel less pressured.

Alonso is simply stating the things he understands are each of the guys' strongest points; and didn't say anything about anyone being the BEST. He just mentioned specific qualities............

Good, if thats the case he may earn a few more fans soon, half the people that dont support him do so cause of his previous attitude, i know i dont, but im open to new character. Like when i lost support for Hamilton when he started speaking like hed done hard time in Alabama State. Some would say its shallow, but thats just my criteria, if i driver is great on track and a tool off it respect as a driver is all they shall receive from me.

As for Alonso's comments, I agree with everything he says. Except!!!! I would actually put him and Lewey on equal footing. In my very biased opinion, those two are zeee creme de la creme vis a vis le formule une.

That fist waving self, that seems to be all you can notice, is actually one hell of a driver, and It's beyond all but a very few to come up with an objective viewpoint that has his fist waving outweighing his driving.

some might take this on board if you actuall did the same for the racewin challenging drivers that you dont support, but as per usual heros on here take a quiet backseat if stuff like that is said about a driver theure not too fondof, but the moment its your boy, "oh dont say that!"

Might they? Surely it should just be about whether they agree with what I said in my actual post or not.

I do have a couple of posters that I ignore despite me regularly disagreeing with what they write, and others where I don't (ignore them), but my decisions are based on my attuide to the poster rather than the subject content.
