I'm thinking about going to see "Morning Glory" next week. Looks a bit like Broadcast News, and that movie's a classic. I mean, I doubt it'll be as good as that one, but as long as it's satisfying it should be worth a watch. Especially since Rachel McAdams is in it

When you say you've never watched any of them, you mean 'amores perros etc', right? You, as a Clint Eastwood fan, must've watched the dollars trilogy.

Yep that Amores thing :D .

*Why can't a cop be cool? =p I have two friends who are cops and they are way cooler than most of my friends. We used to go out, get drunk and cheat our (ex)gf's very often :rofl: But one just got married, his son's just born and he is calm now...and the other one moved to another city.

It's kinda tough being labeled isn't it  .

Especially since Rachel McAdams is in it

:cloud9:
Makes me wanna watch 'The Notebook' again, I do have a sensitive side  !

I have not seen any of them but I'm sure they are ok. I posted the 'Gran Torino' because I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan (with alittle cop attitude thrown in for good measure I guess) :) . I'm certain if anyone here ever met me personaly you would think "He's a cop, but he's so cool how can it be?!"

I'll let Stealthgate007 relay that info as I'll be hanging out with him soon.

best part in gran torino, where the credits start playing and tao
drives serenely out of view down the coast, you woulfnt believe how much id pay for that to be my whole life.

BTW, I had a WTF moment during the Super Bowl when I caught the following movie trailer. Have we run out of ideas?

The Old West.. where a lone cowboy leads an uprising against a terror from beyond our world. 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). It's a town that lives in fear. But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known. Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been...
